Three people, including a 29-year-old female, have died on the spot in a road traffic accident on the Mongu-Limulunga road.
ZANIS reports that the accident happened after the driver of a Toyota Camry the three were travelling in lost control of the car and rammed into an electricity pole.
The accident happened around 18:30 hours on Saturday in Malengwa area. The driver has been named as Frank Sitali, 29, of Katoya village, Chief Libumbu.
Western Province Commissioner of Police Lombe Kamukoshi identified the passengers as Liswaniso Sikaba, 51, of Winela compound in Chief Libumbu and Thabo Sibote, 29, of the same area.
They were travelling from Mongu to Limulunga.
The bodies of the deceased are lying in Lewanika General Hospital mortuary awaiting post-mortem and burial. – ZANIS.
