Esther Phiri’s Long Awaited Comeback Fight Set For December 20
Esther Phiri’s long-awaited comeback fight has shown some signs of becoming a reality after it was revealed that the fight will take place on December 20, 2014.
Exodus Boxing Promotions organizing Manager George Chilonda is confident that the fight will not be subjected to another postponement, after it was cancelled three times.
Chilonda says this is because the stable has raised Two Hundred Thousand out of the required Three Hundred and Ninety Thousand Kwacha budget to stage the fight.
Meanwhile, Exodus boxing stables Manager Anthony Mwamba says Esther will still face Jennifer Faccio of Uruguay and will be supported by six other bouts.
And Esther says she is itching to return to the ring after a two year absence.
