MMD party president Nevers Mumba has told the people of Muchinga Province that developmental projects that late President Michael Sata had embarked on will continue if he is elected into office in the January 20 republican presidential election.
Dr Mumba said all the uncompleted works like universities, roads and hospitals would be completed under his leadership.
He said in Chinsali yesterday that people of the region should not grieve but vote for him for the projects to continue and that his election campaign will formally start in Kitwe on a date yet to be determined.
“I am here to start the fire burning after I was advised to come here and seek guidance from the elders on how I should go about the events running up to January 20, 2015,” Mr Mumba said.
