Scott Rejects the Election of Edgar Lungu, Says Elections Will Take Place Tomorrow
Acting president Guy Scott says the election of Edgar Lungu as the party president is void and null. Among some of the several other reasons given are that delegates who attended the convention were not eligible and were more than 8000, about 4000 more than the normal required number . The accreditation of delegates is on going and will continue until tomorrow 1st December in the morning and election expected to take place tomorrow where dully leader of PF will be elected.

Peace!!! With so many candidates, the question was those who did not want Lungu to raise their hands, then those who wanted him to raise their hands. No secret ballot, no similar questions with respect to other candidates. Is this the democracy we want? Of Yes or No vote or a choice between candidates?

How sure are u about handing over power? Times change baba. I have never liked HH, but with what I have seen with the pf, I am really disappointed, I may be forced to give my vote to HH. EL can’t be better than Lubinda not even Simuusa W. He is far from the two. I get the impression that a lot of ministers and deputy minister are all out trying to get Edgar in so that they can keep their jobs. My fellow country men please open your eyes and vote wisely. If EL becomes the pf candidate that’s the end of them. It’s not automatic that every citizen is for EL.

Edgar Lungu has beaten them with pants down. They though they can stop him through the convention and he played by their rules. They are re-writing their own rules to suit their narrow agenda. He asked the Central committee to hold a convention and not by hand picking the President of the party which he bolted. The people there voted and EL was declared due to non opposing candidates.
