Muvi TV Stops Broadcasting Guy Scott’s General Conference
Lungu has appointed former Lusaka Province Chairperson Davies Chama as new PF Secretary General.
Lawyers for Edgar Lungu have also served the High Court Injunction to restrain ZNBC and Muvi Tv from Broadcasting proceedings of an illegal meeting.
“We have seen the High Court Injunction and we immediately switched off the broadcast. We cannot participate in illegalities. We shall however record the material for them.” said General Manager Costa Mwansa

If I was watching ‘allo allo’ or ‘mind your language’, I wouldn’t mind missing some episodes, as for this drama in PF, I wouldn’t mind missing a month’s or two months’ subscription as it entertaining enough from our local media houses at a very cheap fee.

ARTICLE 46 OF THE PARTY CONSTITUTION say:
The General Conference shall have the following functions:
4. The General Conference shall be attended by:
(a) All members of the National Council; and
(b) Up to 500 delegates from each province selected in accordance with rules made by the Central
Committee.
5. (a) To elect the President of the Party and Members of the Central Committee; (b) to
formulate and revise Party policies and programmers;
(c) To amend, approve or adopt Party Constitution;
(d) To define and orientate general policies for the nation’s development. (e)
To consider and approve National Development Plans.
6. The voting at the General Conference shall be by secret ballot.
LUNGU’s PF-B Faction contravened item 4. (a) Not all attended his election and non of his competitors were there. Secondly, he contravened Item 6. of ARTICLE 46 by voting raising of hand instead of a secret ballot.

Simple, other candidates and their supporters were harassed, actually for supporters some were even beaten by PF-B Faction supporters. Today’s voting is in a well fortified place with security armed to the teeth. No incidents for far.

Ha ha ha in order to start voting all candidates are required to have 200 supporters.20 from each province.Those candidates had no supporters hence declare the one who had more than 200 supporters.Viva EL

8. If more than one candidate stand for the office of the President of the Party, each delegate to the
General Conference shall vote for one candidate only and the candidate who receives the greatest number of votes shall be the sole candidate for election to the office of the President of the Republic.
9. Where only one candidate has filed nomination papers at the close of nomination, such a
Candidate shall be declared duly elected President of the Party without conducting a poll.
10. A member of the Party shall not be qualified as a candidate for the office of the President of the Party unless he has been a member of the Party for five (5) years immediately preceding the nomination and he is qualified under the Constitution of Zambia for election to the office of the President of Zambia

DECISION: There was no other candidate apart from a single one, no secret ballot was conducted as in Item 8, Item 10 also will surface towards the General Election as ONLY indigenous Zambian according to Constitution of the Republic should stand. Two candidates have both Malawian parentage and one has already withdrawn… one likely to be disqualified solely based on that item.

E Lungu has never openned his mouth to say he will do this for zambia when elected as president. My vote is on HH,i could rather vote for HH and not win the election than vote for E Lungu. I love my country and i can not be proud of having E Lungu for a president. E Lungu is not in his right mind,i think he is not normal.
