Breaking News: Lusaka High Court Declares Edgar Lungu As PF Presidential Candidate
The Lusaka High Court has in the last few moments issued out a consent judgement in which Defence Minister Edgar Lungu has been declared the party’s sole Presidential Candidate, The ruling as further declared the December 1st General Conference that elected Matero MP Miles Sampa null and void.
The ruling comes hours after Lusaka lawyer Mutale Kaulugombe denied having declared Mr. Sampa as the lawful PF Presidential candidate

the order says “consent by both parties” this indicates the other faction of the PF including the acting president was not part of the court proceeding. If so, then this order is also a shame as the acting president still has full authority until a new president is elected by the people not the PF. The lack of stability of the PF is clear evidence alone that they should not run a country as economies need stability to thrive. I would be curious as to how others see this.

You need to be familiar with the powers that the party chairperson in PF or MMD has. Remember Sikota Wina and the 3rd Term MMD convention? Inonge was right. That is why Simuusa, Given, Kambwili etc withdrew. they must have known the implications of having a convention without Inonge.

Lungu will likely get the following votes in lwapula 95%,92%in nothern owing to the fact that he was sata’s favourite,Eastern45% bcoz of Banda,eastern where PF was used to getting less than 5%,
lusaka between 65% & 80%,
Muchinga 90% bcoz of sata,
north western 39%,
western 52%,
southern 10%,
C/belt 75%,
Central 72%.
Likelyhood that it will be a landslide win for Lungu coz opposition is so week
