Scott Doesn’t Like Me, I have A Small Body But A Big Engine- Lungu
MINISTER of Justice Edgar Lungu says acting President Dr Guy Scott is in a personal fight with him because he does not like him. . Lungu was addressing the press on his disputed election as party president when his supporters got agitated by the activities at the Water Forum downstairs.
The cadres followed the organisers of the forum and threatened to beat up the cultural group that was entertaining participants, who included foreign delegates. One of the cadres followed a pregnant woman coordinating the event and started insulting her. “Iwe, tawishibe ifilechitika pamulu? Tizaku****** mukapitiliza (Don’t you know what is happening upstairs? We will f*** you if you continue [making noise],” the cadre shouted. The woman, who seemed to be a member of staff at Mulungushi, tried in vain to reason with the cadres. “You people, this is a different function and these people here have booked for this venue as well.
There are people who have come from outside the country. What picture will they have of this country if you cause confusion here?” the woman pleaded. Outside the hall, the cadres chanted slogans and sang songs in support of Lungu, disturbing students who were writing ACCA examinations from the same venue. Some cadres even went to solicit for food meant for the delegates attending other functions. During his address, Lungu said he was legally elected PF president and threatened to crack the whip on those opposed to his election. He went ahead to announce the dismissal of party secretary general Bridget Atanga, her deputy Anthony Kasolo, and suspended election chairperson Sylvia Masebo, before naming Davies Chama as the new secretary general. Lungu said acting President Dr Guy Scott was an anarchist, whom he was not going to tolerate, and that he was not too weak to handle him. “Those people have perceived me as a very weak and soft person, but there is hard stuff inside there. He (Dr Scott) wants to test my weight.
I have a small body but big engine. I am the PF president now,” Lungu bragged to the press. “Now, where is Sylvia Masebo and Bridget Atanga in all this? These two people seem to be behind the confusion we are seeing today…. When I was elected as party president yesterday (Sunday), our vice-president Dr Guy Scott issued a media statement purporting that the decision of our most superior organ of the party, the general conference, was cancelled and nullified. Dr Scott has no power, no competence at all to issue such a statement.” He said he was the only person who could nullify an election in the party.
“The only person at present who can nullify or make any pronouncements to that effect is me. It is not surprising that Dr Scott nullified my election because he has been renowned in the country for nullifying his own statements,” Lungu said. “He fires me and then he nullifies his firing. I am sure he will still nullify the statement he made yesterday.” Lungu, who is also Minister of Defence, said the acting President was in a personal fight with him because he hated him. “People had made it clear that they wanted me to be the president of the party. But because he didn’t like me and he doesn’t like me up to now, you can see by his conduct that it is more of a personal fight,” he claimed. Lungu, however, asked for unity with Dr Scott, acknowledging that the acting President was close to president Sata. “But whatever wrong I have done to Dr Scott, I extend an olive branch and ask him to come forward so that we can continue soldiering on because he was very close to president Sata.
I will be failing president Sata if I abandon him,” he said. Lungu told Dr Scott to leave PF and join another party if he was not willing to work with him. “If you are tired of the PF, please leave us in peace; go and form your own party. There are so many parties that can deal with the likes of Dr Scott, so go out there and join them,” said Lungu. And Inonge Wina said no one could nullify the election of Lungu as party president. “Lungu is the president and if there is any candidate that will be chosen by another group of people, it will be illegal,” said Wina.

Sata annoitend EL.If u’re supporters of PF please support EL.We all are agreed to go to the convention and the date was set by Scott himself.Why did he run?pipo couldn’t wait for 4days when the PF constitution was very clear.Scott had no supporters in Kabwe.Pipo confirmed that all delegates started supporting EL.They changed camps!!.When Scott realized that he run away until returning officer declared EL as a new PF president.these candidates had no supporters and there were many monitors and 25 NGO for that elections.all chancellors left when EL was declared as a leader.Now who chose sampa?sampa was chosen by thugs in kabwe.Mind u PF constitution states that a general conference can only convene with more than 3000 delagates.Masebo had less that 1500 street boys and from two province(kabwe n southern).Southern province doesn’t vote 4 PF and it can’t give us a president.PF is in lusaka,CB,luapula,western,northern,muchinga,easter,central.delagets from these provinces should give us a leader.Therefore Sampa is not a leader of PF.Please PF members let us now start campaigning 4 Lungu.Mukombwe,Masebo,atanga and mmembe iwe sure.Viva EL

I agree with you 100%.Scott is a dictator who wanted to control everyone when the law is very clear.Edgar Lungu is the PF president and they are campaigning.People who can’t campaign are from Miles Sampa.At the moment Edgar Lung is the president.Our president Edger Lungu of Zambia.Copperbelt yonse ni Edgar Lungu.Sampa won’t even step here because he is too childish.I agree that HH can’t rule becuase of tribalism in his party.Not only that he sold the mines and want to come back?noooooooo please give us break.HH will retire in 2015.let’s go lungu——————-

Just coz Lungu was “anointed” by Sata (to use other people’s words) doesn’t mean he is capable of carrying on Sata’s vision. James’s vision cannot be John’s vision. Havent you seen a parent leaving properties for the children who come and sell them later on. Reason? The father’s vision cannot be the sons vision. When the father is still alive, the sons look like they can carry on the vision because the father is there to guide. No sooner does the father die than the sons sell all property. Let us be careful.

Does Lungu or his supporters know the law about who is supposed to take over after the death of a president? That was fight number one with Dr Scott. Does Lungu or his supporters know the PF party policy on how to elect the PF Party President at a general conference? That is fight number 2 with Dr Scott. Period.

In my life I have never seen a uselessness man like E LUNGU.He is so weak and tht is the reason why people ar supportin him.They want to enjoy the money they couldn’t enjoy in SATA’S Gvment,let us think people and tht is the fact.He is a lawyer he needs to behave and respect the rules and laws as well as rights of all Zambian citizens.He is causin confusion in PF,because he is very HUNGRY for the leadership as a result he has shown me childishnessnss and foolishnessness that is in him.
