Kambwili Issues Statement, Explains Why He Did Not Sign Vote of No Confidence Petition

PRESS STATEMENT FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

MY OFFICIAL POSITION REGARDING THE VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE BY CABINET IN Dr. GUY LINDSAY SCOTT.

Goodmorning dear patriots, countrymen and women.

As you all may have heard, by now, about a meeting that was held at cabinet office where cabinet passed a vote of no confidence in the leadership of Dr. Guy Scott as Acting President of Zambia; I want to say the following:

1. I Totally agree with the decision by our cabinet to pass a vote of no confidence in Dr. Guy Lindsay Scott on the same grounds that were issued. I am 100% part of the decision and the endorsement of that decision by our gallant cabinet.

2, Dr. Guy Scott has been working against the unity of the Patriotic Front and the progressive agenda of our government, therefore, I do not condone to such behaviour, elusiveness and questionable actions that One Guy Scott has exhibited since the passing on of HEMCS. Let Dr. Guy Scott go and we the Zambian people and the Patriotic Front will soldier on to take us even to greater heights.
You all have heard and seen the formation of even Rainbow Party which Dr. Guy Scott is deeply involved in. So we cannot allow him to continue causing confusion in the PF and government.

3. Most of you were wondering as to why I did not sign the petition yesterday; but like I hinted to you on this page; I was sent on Government duty to go to Kabwe to take Youth Development and Empowerment Funds; and having been in Lusaka I was going to sign that petition too. I will today go ahead and sign on that petition because I am part of that decision. Do not be misled by ZNBC and other media who may have created an impression that I did not sign because I did not agree with my cabinet colleagues; No it was just because I was in Kabwe.

4. I, therefore, want to inform the greater Patriotic Front family from across the country to come for the filing in of the ECZ nomination ceremony for Honourable Edgar Chagwa Lungu on Saturday, 20th December, 2014 at the Supreme Court in Lusaka. We are going ahead to file the nomination, come rain come sunshine.

I thank you all for being patient to wait for my Official Statement and like I promised you all this while, The Patriotic Front is even more united.

Honourable Chishimba Kambwili, MP
MINISTER OF YOUTH AND SPORT

Word for PF: “2. My troubled thoughts prompts me to
respond because I am greatly disturbed. 4. Surely you
know how it has been from of old ever since man was
placed on the earth, 5 that the mirth of the WICKED is
brief, the joy of the godless lasts but a moment. 6
Though his pride reaches to the heavens and his head
touches the clouds, 7 he will perish for ever, like his
own DUNG; those who have seen him will say, Where
is he? 8 Like a dream he flies away, no more to be
found, banished like a vision of the night”. Job 20:2-8

No wonder Gary Nkombo told him that waba ichobe!lol. Everyone in PF seems to be a spokesperson. This is the indiscipline that Kabimba was talking about. They’re behaving like headless chickens. Chi Luo, chilandepo, Ka Jean Kapata nako kabosaka. Kanshi protocol ilikwisa? This PF will be ungovernable God forbid they’re to be voted into power. Ka Eddy won’t even know whether he is coming or going.
