The High Court has allowed presidential hopeful Miles Sampa to join the proceedings in which Patriotic Front (PF) president Edgar Lungu was declared leader of the party through a consent judgment.
High Court judge Mungeni Mulenga dismissed an application to raise preliminary issues by PF chairperson Inonge Wina for the court to determine whether it should hear Mr Sampa’s application to join the proceedings when he had not purged contempt allegations.
Justice Mulenga said yesterday that there was no committal order against Mr Sampa as contempt proceedings did not commence against him.
She said Mr Sampa and other alleged contemnors cannot be heard only when the contempt impedes the course of justice or makes it difficult for the court to ascertain the truth or enforce its orders.
Justice Mulenga added that she exercised her discretion to hear the alleged contemnors on the joiner.
She noted that despite being granted leave to commence committal proceedings, Mrs Wina did not take out or serve any notice of motion or other documents on Mr Sampa.
Justice Mulenga said the leave granted lapsed as the 14 days allowance expired without a motion being entered for hearing.

THE SECRETE OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS IN ZAMBIA- BY ‘PROFESSOR OF POLITICAL SCIENCE’
WHO WILL WIN THE 20th JANUARY 2015 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS? BY PROFESSOR IN POLITICAL SCIENCE AND ANALYSIS;
IS IT HH OR EDGAR LUNGU?
Any of the two above mentioned candidates will be declared winner before 31st January 2015 & be sworn in by our Acting Chief Justice Lombe Chibesakunda.
In 2011, when I wrote that the Late President Micheal Sata (MHSRIP) will win the elections, a lot of people disagreed with me. Why? This was because majority of them were depending on the propaganda that was being carried out by Government and State Controlled Media such as ZNBC, ZANIS, TIMES OF ZAMBIA, ZAMBIA DAILY MAIL AND TO SOME EXTENT ‘CHANDA CHIMBA’S DOCUMENTARIES.
What majority people ignored was the fact that a lot of people were not happy with Rupiah Banda’s Government.
Political Rallies are not the best instrument of ganging the popularity of any political party, yes the give an insight but that is just 40%. This is so because 50% of people that attend rallies may not actually vote in any impending election: for some are not registered voters, some have shifted from places where they are registered from, while some just attend for formality (Chitenge Material or T Shirts).
The best way of determining the next winner is by u getting deep in societies/communities and hears what people say about a particular Presidential Candidate; hear which presidential candidate commands a lot of support and analyses from there.
Prior to 2011 elections, many observers including the International Well respected institutions (EIU) had predicted that Rupiah would win the presidential elections, but they were not only shocked with the outcome but were also very embarrassed. This is because 100% of their predictions proved to be opposite and this was the reason for Rupiah Banda to shade tears.
Little did the local and international observers knew that in Zambia, the victory and popularity of any political candidate is not gagged by majority of people attending political rallies but by what people say about that candidate and the political party in the village/community.
And with less than 25 days remaining before campaigns close, majority of people are again debating who between HH and EL the best candidate is.
While HH is enjoying the support of some experienced politicians like VJ, Edgar Lungu enjoys the support of the ruling party and that of the Acting President.
These two men attract very good and almost equal crowds during rallies but the question is, who between the two is enjoying more support by people in the community, that is; who is most positively talked about candidate in by majority Zambians?.
I know some supporters may not like this; but I should be brave to disclose without fear or favor that; the most positively talked about candidate in Zambia is actually Hakainde Hichilema the UPND Leader just like the way Sata was prior to the 2011 General Elections.
Yes Edgar Lungu will give HH a good and commendable chase but NOT that which will make him win the presidential elections. Surely, the PF was Sata and Sata was PF. Nothing which the PF does this time is greatly liked to change the status quo not only the reinstating of nurses or the purported reconciliation with the Acting President will have a bearing on the election results.
Therefore, Zambians must be ready to inaugurate their Sixth President Hakainde Moses Hichilema.
In fact the more PF insults HH, the more people talk positive about him and that will translate into votes.
The Late Micheal Sata was more popular at the time of elections than Edgar Lungu today but still did not manage to go beyond 45%. This tells u that since Edgar is not Sata, his votes will be reduced even by 20%.
In conclusion, I would like to state that the candidate who is likely to win the forth coming presidential elections with or without government machinery is UPND Leader HH and NOT Edgar Lungu. In know some people may not like this, but this has just to be accepted by all well meaning Zambians as the reality.
But once PF loses the elections, that will be the end of the party.
After HH, Miles Sampa, Winter Kabimba and Cornerlias Mweetwa (Choma MP) are likely to dominate Zambia’s Political landscape for the next 20 years.
Happy Christmas and Prosperous 2015.
God be with you all.

Prof. in what ever. We now know you and do not form any part of the technocrats’ society that objectively Analise the issues.
You started very well in the first paragraphs, but half way down the line, it became very clear that your are a hired gun trying to swing the chances for your master HH. But believe me, you have failed. Your ego became apparent the very first sentence after your wrote HH.
I do not know which communities you visit that ululate HH. May be its only communities you would to visit in Namwala.
Piece of advise if your want to sound like a professor;
Avoid cadre sentances like
1. PF was Sata and Sata was PF
2. People insulting HH…blablabla!
3. You can see which people dominate you future political names. You are inclined to the South. save for an adversary in Miles.
So go ahead an cheat you master. You are free. Foe us, we are on the move and we want to finish all the projects country wide.

This judge is very biased and perhaps corrupt. Why did she have to refuse to join him in the first place until when supreme court disgraced her? She is part of the mafias and we must be wary of such justices because they are greed and can do anything to pervert justice. She has single handedly rendered the all case useless and pointless for Miles to continue.

Moreover, she initially excused herself from administering this case, but when the Supreme Court granted Sampa to join in she again picked up the case and only to postpone it to Monday so Lungu can file on Saturday! She should be ashamed, thats our legal system. Phucking corrupt

Professor, you are very boring like master. Please, we tired of reading the comment. Its like someone just wrote it for you and cant construct your own text. Contribute sensible comments please not this rubbish. Who do think you can cheat? Zambians ? No No! Ask Rupiah what happened to him in 2011.

Well half truths actually but some truth for sure. Sata was a heavyweight political figure but laboured to gunner votes for decades. Eddy is a lightweight and little is known about him unlike Wynter Kabimba who is even more popular for wrong reason though, as a bull of PF, no nonesense man. So this analysis by Pro fimofimo is actually a credible one HH must make sure he starts realigning his senses to the Presidency
