I Enjoy God’s Favour-Nevers Mumba

MMD president Nevers Mumba says he rates high his chances of winning the January 20, 2015 presidential election because he has experience as a national leader and diplomat.
Dr Mumba said he is also enjoying God’s favour because as a pastor for over 30 years, he knows the pain Zambians feel.
Speaking on Muvi TV’s Zambia Decides programme on Monday night, Dr Mumba urged Zambians to vote for him and the MMD, saying there is only one MMD, only one president and one constitution that he shall uphold.
He also said his suspension from the party was machination plotted by some party members to bring back former president Rupiah Banda.
Dr Mumba said injustice was applied on him by some party members who suspended him and that he felt sorry for Mr Banda after the Supreme Court ruling.
“I am aware that Mr Banda felt a setback after the court dropped him from the MMD presidency like I felt when I got suspended from the party.
“After this happened, I called Mr Banda and met with him,” he said.
Dr Mumba assured his supporters of victory because he rates his chances very highly.
“My aim is to change and rebrand the MMD but some people are against this noble idea.
“The MMD is stabilising under my leadership and people have started building confidence and are now supporting the party,” he said.
Dr Mumba also said the money the MMD is using in its campaigns is clean and coming from well-wishers.
He also pledged to empower young people especially street vendors with skills and capital to support themselves.

Dr Mumba, you’re right. The Bible in the Book of Psalm 127:1 says that:”Unless the Lord builds the house, they labour in vain who build it”.So doing polititics without the Favour of God is a toll order and is labouring in vain.I know with the non-spiritual Presidential Aspirants and their members, this does not make sense at all.To them it’s by might and power that works.Financial Power,Human popularity power etc.Let God reign over Zambia, especially in this Jubilee Season.

God’s principle is you reap what you sow. You sow hard work, you reap good rewards. This principle works for everyone, believer or non-believer You always have to work hard for everything. There is no favouritism with life. Rain falls on earth for everybody, it depends on what you do with it as human being.

In this Presidential By-Election,God will be glorified. It won’t be to the enguinity of an individual, but the will of God for Zambia shall prevail.Wina azalila.Especially the spiritually blind people who think, they can win because they’re popular, educated, have enough money or anointed.

God does not take sides. He does not ordain anybody. One has to work for everything and one gets what one sows.

You are so wrong my friend, there are so many examples of political leadership in the bible; Moses, Joseph, Joshua. try reading and understanding the word of God before exposing your ignorance about were Christians belong. The world is such a mess because we have let people like you push us to the back. Anyway who are you to decide who should do what?

That is wise Dr. Mumba. Especially the point of consolling ba Bwezani. All you people saying God in not involved in politics, you are limiting the omnipresent and omniscient. He knows and he has allowed us to chose whom we want. Ikalenifye & read about how Saul became King.
