Bishop Chomba Dragged To Court For Calling HH A Satanist
UPND has sued Bishop Edward Chomba for defamation of character.
Chomba has been dragged to court for openly calling UPND President Hakainde Hichilema as a Satanist and freemason who will devour the children one elected President.
According to a statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court Mr Hichilema has stated that he has been severely injured in his credit and reputation and has been brought into scandal, odium and contempt.
PF president Edgar Lungu and party secretary general Davies Chama have also been sued as the first and second defendants respectively for not directing their members or supporters to observe the electoral code of conduct.

Mr. Hichilema, Sir, you could have been magnanimous enough and shown that you are above them. Sadly, sir, you have lowered yourself to the level of that bishop. Or is it that, that is where you belong? Then Lungu will appear more noble than you coz at no point or campaign has he wasted time to argue with a fool or contend with opposing cadres.

This suit should have been and must be thrown back to the local courts. I foresee drama in cross examination:
HH: “Your honour, I wish the defendant to prove that I am a Satanist. I am offended, defamed, etc”
Judge: “Chomba, can you prove your allegations”
Bishop Chomba; “Yes your honour, the Lord God Almighty of the Bible, by which I swore, revealed it to me.
HH: Your honour, let him call God to the witness box.
Judge: “OK, we shall resume this case to 23rd January 2015, after we have proved that your satanism, aleged satanism cost you plot 1 since we cannot call Almighty God to testify.

It defies rules of natural justice that Scott and Chama should apologize on behalf of the bishop. Even in christianity, the sinner confesses to GOD. His friends, relatives or pastor can not do it on his behalf.

This is a wrong man for the top job of president in Zambia. The president Guy Scott and other people including the bishop himself have apologised and HH can not forgive. They cannot rule a majority Christian nation if they are not circumcised in heart or else their value system is in conflict with people’s values- period.

You know why EL will win come 21st January 2015?. Unlike HH, Edgar is not an elitist, he is one of us, very humble and down to earth. HH struggles to speak local languages, even Tonga, Edgar is good at local languages. Edgar is poor both in spirit and financially unlike HH with a lot of money but stingy and a free masonry.
