Money Won’t Vote For Edgar Lungu -GBM

Geoffrey Mwamba has warned Edgar Lungu and his campaign team that money will not vote for them in next month’s presidential election.
During a meeting with PF national chairperson Inonge Wina, Northern Province minister Freedom Sikazwe and members of the Northern Province PF executive filmed by Muvi TV on Friday, Mwamba, the Kasama Central member of parliament, told Wina to go and tell her ‘so-called president’ that if he continued sidelining him, he was doing so at his own peril.
He had earlier in an interview on Thursday said Lungu has sidelined him from party activities, but warned that the consequences of that decision would be visible after the January 20 election. Mwamba also gave the party up to this week to resolve wrangles in Northern Province or he and the executive would go against the party in the election. “If you think we are irrelevant at this point in time because you are in government…now you are able to charter planes which you [failed] to hire when we were going for the general election in 2011, you think money will vote for you? It won’t,” warned Mwamba. “They [the provincial executive] have given us an ultimatum as leaders.
By next [this] week, if we don’t come up with an amnesty, the choice is up to the party whether to go along with them or to do away with them, which I totally agree with them myself. Including myself, I will make my decision known just before New Year if this is the trend that is going to continue of sidelining us. So go and tell the so-called president that if he will listen to just a clique of people, then he ignores us, then he is doing it at his own peril.
Within a few days, Northern Province will be able to decide.” And Wina promised that the central committee would push a positive action in support of Mwamba. Meanwhile, some provincial executive members in support of Mwamba shed tears when they expressed their anger towards Sikazwe, who had allegedly formed another executive to champion campaigns in the province ahead of January’s presidential election.
But Sikazwe accused some members of the executive committee of still reporting to people labelled to be against the party, and that such an action would not be tolerated. He further said in an interview yesterday that Mwamba was campaign manager for Kasama Central alone and not the whole province. “Our campaign strategy that we have is that every MP is a campaign manager in his own constituency. Even GBM is a campaign manager in Kasama Central. I’m the campaign manager for Mpulungu Constituency. Every MP is a campaign manager for his own constituency. That’s all,” Sikazwe said. “It was a discussion where he was trying to find out why he was not being involved and I said ‘No, you are being involved, you are a campaign manager for your constituency and I expected you to have collected all your materials for your constituency’.
The secretary general had given that directive that an MP must collect his campaign materials from the secretariat … that’s all.” He said it was Mwamba’s ‘boys’ who had raised the issue of campaign manager. “That issue of the campaign manager was not spoken by him but his boys who were saying, ‘No, ifwe (we) don’t want that man that you have put, the one who is handling resources. We want somebody who has money so that even when the campaign team says they have no money, he can use his own money in the campaigns’.
And I said ‘Yes, we are not stopping that’, because GBM is the campaign manager for Kasama Central. I don’t expect GBM to come to Mpulungu for this campaign, no. I’m currently in Mpulungu and all is going on well,” said Sikazwe.

This is not the time of finger pointing, in the game of politics you need each other. pf has a chance to retain power, All you need is to work as a team. EL you are the chosen one.

  23. T Woods   December 29, 2014 at 12:49 am

Like we have said before, the PF quarrels will not end. They are likely to be worse after 20 Jan 15!

  24. VAMPIRO   December 29, 2014 at 3:25 am

I once stated that for a revolution to change government to occur it has to take about 90% of pipo to effect that change not what is obtaining on the ground. For upnd to win they should aim for 90 in order to win by 48%.pf has already won these elections nowonder they are not even panicking.

    • Bana J   December 29, 2014 at 9:52 am

You are right, your statement “pf has already won these elections nowonder they are not even panicking.” They have not won, instead, they won before and pipo of Zambia have read through PF’s Wickedness. So its now PF to aim higher and not UPND. POINT of correction.

It has been discovered that people who comment based on tribal lines who for some time have been masquerading as bembas are actually aliens from Zaire who came into Zambia using backdoors. Real bembas are are social, intelligent, respectful, have no problem to mix no wonder they are found everywhere east, west, south and central. They too, are good analysers and support any QUALITY leader. These facts are there in schools, churches and anywhere else. The people on this platform who insult are ba ‘mwisa’ who came running and now they want to establish themselves here. These tribal remarks where not here even in the pre-independence time when actually people were primitive. Mainza Chona could hand over power to KK selflessly. In the 1964 elections H Nkumbula told the whites that his votes were for KK as well which made KK get the required 50% plus votes to have Zambia independent. Ever since there was no tribalism remarks. 1991 FTJ was voted highest in ALL the polling stations in Southern Province so as is in 1996. Unfortunately, during this period of liberalised economy Zaireans came as traders and by time even forget that they were foreigners thus with their genes of fighting and dancing they begun to speak louder than the real Zambians. They found opportunities for music and dancing but there were no opportunities for fighting thus they started tribal campaigns with few leaders like late Sata who could tolerate it to an extent of misleading him so much that in 2006 he was told not campaign in Western, Southern and North Western saying he could win in only six provinces. This did not work. These ba mwisa have continued to promote tribalism to unsuspecting leaders, cadres and ordinary citizens even deceiving pastors. Not only that but also to an extent of establishing media houses. Now that we know! Now that we are aware! You will not succeed. Zambians are one. Bembas dialects ,tongas dialects , lozi dialects, nyanja dialects, Lunda dialects, Luvale dialects and Kaonde dialects are all one. And you mwisas will not break the bond of oneness our forefathers gave us. Just go back to where you do two things;when you are not dancing then you are fighting. Leaders wake up and check who is surrounding you. Reject these foreigners and their children who they have taught wrong things such as bembas and tongas are at war! Which war? Why then are they not tribal cousins? Tell them that in this piece of land called Zambia war is never permanent and if tribal war arose , the two tribes become tribal cousins. So you zaireans be shameful of yourselves.

Tribal politics ba Mwamba. Bury your differences. Mwalifilwa ukuba ba president ba PF. Now you want to sabotage your friend? Let him be president!
