Edgar Lungu Apologizes To The People Of Northern Province
A crowd of Edgar Lungu’s supporters
Patriotic Front President Edgar Lungu has asked for forgiveness from the people of Northern Province for keeping them waiting for three days before addressing scheduled rallies in the province, saying he went to source for funds.
And business came to a standstill in Mpulungu District today after the PF President’s convoy was leaving Mpulungu after a successful rally at Muzabwela Grounds as people tried to catch a glimpse of the PF President.
Addressing a mammoth rally in Mpulungu District this afternoon, Mr. Lungu said he cannot use government resources for his campaigns because it is against the laws of the land.
He said this is the reason why he had to leave the country to source for campaign funds.
Mr. Lungu urged the people of Northern Province to be weary of people using money and endorsing the opposition Leader Hakainde Hichilema saying they lack direction.
He says he is aware that there is one person within the province
who wants to buy people using money because he wants to campaign for the opposition..
the PF President says having money is nothing stating that wisdom is key to looking after people.
Speaking at the same rally, Northern Province Minister Freedom Sikazwe apologized for keeping the people for three days before the rally could be held.
Mr. Sikazwe, who is also Mpulungu Member of Parliament, says the PF government has done tremendous work in the area in the last three years and that the only remaining challenge is provision of safer drinking water.
People had started gathering at Muzabwela Grounds as early as 11hours when the rally was scheduled to start at 16:00 hours.

Dear Zambians, I also attended today’s ralies for Edgar Lungu.
Majority of us were just bused from deferent districts.
The same people who attended the first rally are the same ones who attended all those so called lungu’s ralies.
Edgar Lungu’s camp have now developed the most sophiscated and complex way of propaganda campaign.
they have hired big buses to ferry people who attend every rally that Lungu addresses and claim Lungu is popular wen in the actual sense the man is the most hated.
ZNBC has now been reduced to the PF Propaganda campaign too.

Dear HON EDGAR C. LUNGU: PF PRESIDENT;
EXTENSION OF THE SCHOOL HOLIDAY FOR 2 WEEKS
On behalf of all Teacher Mother Bodies & Pupils in Zambia, we are asking you to consider using your influence to reschedule the 2015 Term One Reopening Time Table for Government Schools to reduce Syllabus Coverage Disturbance in schools because of the Presidential Elections.
As Senior Academicians and Educationalists, we are suggesting that schools should NOT OPEN on 12th January 2015 but should OPEN on 26th January 2015. This is will allow teachers and pupils to cover the syllabi adequately as they will be no disturbances, because the Elections would have been over by that time.
Allowing schools to open amidst heated Presidential campaigns and elections, will not only disturb the smooth running of the school, but will massively disturb the mood of teaching in schools especially that it will be the first term of the year and this will badly backfire as a lot of pupils in all Grades may perform badly in 2015.
Experience has shown & proved that if the beginning of the term is disturbed, then the whole term will be disturbed and this makes it hard for teachers to cover the syllabus for the respective Grades and Subjects adequately.
And worse still if pupils begin their term at a bad note of disturbances, then expect the whole academic year to be disturbed and this is detrimental to the education system of the country.
Before and during the Presidential Elections, a lot of teachers if not all will be involved in training as Presiding and Polling Assistants and they will also be involved in conducting elections.
This means that during all those days pupils will be left unattended to and this will plant a very bad spirit of laziness in both teachers and pupils which is likely to continue until the end of 2015 and no doubt, this will have a negative effect on the Pupils’ Performance in all grades.
PF, we respect you as a listening government and we wait for a positive response before the Opening Day for Term One 2015 draws near.
Hope our request will be attended as soon as possible and thanks in anticipation.

@joe bidden, you sound to be learnt but why you fail to read between the lines about who is becoming president on 21st, leaves me wondering how helpful education has been to you interms of reasoning. swallow the bitter pill and come to terms boyi, just like the post did last week. FYI, hh is not known in typical villages of; muchinga, northern. luapula, eastern and central. Edgar will get some good votes from southern, western and nortwestern bcoz of standing on the ruling party ticket. Lsk and CB is purely edgar’s lion’s share.
