Without Some Of Us, PF Would Have Not Been There -GBM

GBM Lubinda
Those calling for my resignation should be careful because PF would have been non-existent without my contribution, says Geoffrey Mwamba.
Commenting on calls by some PF members that he should resign, Mwamba said his decision not to support Edgar Lungu had thrown the ruling party into disarray and that it has now felt his political weight. “They thought I was a nonentity in the political arena and now they have felt my weight and that is why they are saying I should resign,” he said.
“Without some of us, PF would have not been there and if I can remind them when president [Michael] Sata was being harassed by the MMD regime through the Drug Enforcement Agency, who was there? Who came out and supported Sata throughout?” Mwamba said newcomers had hijacked the party and now wanted to start acting like its masters.
He said he would not resign to please those calling for his resignation. “Today, they seem to be masters; the kingmakers, the owners of PF. Unfortunately, tell them I will not resign,” Mwamba stressed. He said most of the people who were throwing their weight around had never been close to Sata. “But if you look at those who are calling for my resignation from the party, those hired guns of theirs, those who are related or party officials, look at their calibre! Those are people who were not even close to president Sata; he never gave them anything or any position and these are the people who are trying to call for my resignation!” said Mwamba.
On Monday, Mwamba announced his support for the UPND in next month’s presidential election, saying the PF boat had cracked and was sinking. But PF secretary general Davies Chama challenged Mwamba to resign so that his parliamentary seat could be declared vacant.
Chama also said Mwamba was a suspended party official whose action was not expected to affect the party’s popularity in the area ahead of the January 20, 2015 election.

Hon Kachasu Chibuku is just eying the embasy park otherwise he had nothing to offer to the Zambian Park.

He knows his days are numbered so just want to ensure that his remains are put to rest at Embasy Park.

You must be Jane Haabanyama! For your information, it is GBM who should be so thankful to the PF. He was riding on the popularity of Sata and PF. Ask him how he lost in Lusaka under MMD.By the way your friend is eyeing Embasy Park, what about you? Obviously Chingwere or Kantolomba Cemetery not so? Makaka iwe! Pasopoo!

All what the people are asking is for GBM not to eat with both hands. It is very confusing, how can you endorse HH who is UPND President and still want to stay in PF. It is PF members who didn’t feel that GBM can be their Party President. Lungu never even tried to wood wink anyone. people told him that it is you we want just whe the President died. If you assist any party with the hope of being favored later, that is what leads to corruption. Help a Party because you believe in their policies and what they stand for. It seems GBM is angry with PF because he helped PF financially. What he should know is there are many people who had helped PF who have never claimed any reward from PF and you may not even know them. HH should also be careful with people endorsing him without letting go of their parties. Carders can never be duped to vote for another candidate when they are still active in another party. HH, you will be honorable to refuse some of those endorsements because they mean nothing. Allowing these type of endorsement shows that you are very desperate and voters can’t trust a leader who shows such desperation.

    Dear HON EDGAR C. LUNGU: PF PRESIDENT;

EXTENSION OF THE SCHOOL HOLIDAY FOR 2 WEEKS

ATTENTION: EMMANUEL MWAMBA: PF MEDIA TEAM DIRECTOR
On behalf of all Teacher Mother Bodies & Pupils in Zambia, we are asking you to consider using your influence to reschedule the 2015 Term One Reopening Time Table for Government Schools to reduce Syllabus Coverage Disturbance in schools because of the Presidential Elections.

As Senior Academicians and Educationalists, we are suggesting that schools should NOT OPEN on 12th January 2015 but should OPEN on 26th January 2015. This is will allow teachers and pupils to cover the syllabi adequately as they will be no disturbances, because the Elections would have been over by that time.

Allowing schools to open amidst heated Presidential campaigns and elections, will not only disturb the smooth running of the school, but will massively disturb the mood of teaching in schools especially that it will be the first term of the year and this will badly backfire as a lot of pupils in all Grades may perform badly in 2015.

Experience has shown & proved that if the beginning of the term is disturbed, then the whole term will be disturbed and this makes it hard for teachers to cover the syllabus for the respective Grades and Subjects adequately.

And worse still if pupils begin their term at a bad note of disturbances, then expect the whole academic year to be disturbed and this is detrimental to the education system of the country.

Before and during the Presidential Elections, a lot of teachers if not all will be involved in training as Presiding and Polling Assistants and they will also be involved in conducting elections.

This means that during all those days pupils will be left unattended to and this will plant a very bad spirit of laziness in both teachers and pupils which is likely to continue until the end of 2015 and no doubt, this will have a negative effect on the Pupils’ Performance in all grades.

PF, we respect you as a listening government and we wait for a positive response before the Opening Day for Term One 2015 draws near.

Hope our request will be attended as soon as possible and thanks in anticipation.

VERNON Mwaanga cannot add any value to the PF government or party because he has a bad reputation, says Wynter Kabimba. Responding to Mwaanga’s statement that he was willing to serve in the PF government if called upon, PF secretary general Kabimba said PF would not tolerate the likes of Mwaanga because he had a reputation of a gold digger and came from a party many Zambians had perceived to be corrupt. Kabimba poured scorn on Mwaanga saying the former MMD chief whip was not what he was claiming to be. “He does not have a good reputation, he may not be adding value to the PF where the general perception of people is that he has been helping the MMD rig elections,” Kabimba said.
