Tips To Get Rid Of The New Year Hangover

HangoverIt is the first day of the year and the effects of the party the night before is beginning to show.

Although waking up with a pounding headache and the feeling of nausea is a sign of having had a glorious start to the New Year, it is when the aches and nausea don’t go away that you will end up feeling terrible. But cheer up, here are some quick suggestions to help you get over that annoying hangover:

Add some mustard powder in your morning bath. This would soothe your muscles and help you sweat out some toxins.

As your body breaks down (metabolizes) the alcohol to maintain a steady blood sugar level, it loses liquid. So, the first thing you need to do is to hydrate yourself. Drink lots of water. A glass of fresh tomato juice or coconut water has the exact amount of electrolytes you need.

A hearty breakfast is important to give you enough energy for the day. But on days like these you need to pick what you are going to eat wisely. A slice of bread with fresh fruit spread would soak up the toxins and give you just enough energy. In this case even an oatmeal breakfast (banana oatmeal with peanut butter and honey) works wonders.

Listen to some good music. It can help calm you down.

    I’ve often wondered why “we” were and many still are so gullible to embrace a religion which was imposed upon us by the whip and the gun!! It saddens me to see “Missionaries and con-men prophets ” still doing their best to brainwash more vulnerable souls.
