It’s Wrong For People To Conclude That I’m Sick Because Of The Way I Look -Edgar Lungu

PF presidential candidate Edgar Lungu has challenged those questioning his health status to a medical examination.
Lungu asked his opponents to prove that they are healthier than him by undergoing clinical tests. “Like I said in Kasama the other day, everyone has to care for their health and there is no problem with going to the clinic because we all want to live as long as possible,” he said in Matero on New Year’s Day.
“I am as healthy as I can be and all those who think they are better than me, let’s go for a test. We will see what they will find them with.” Lungu said it was wrong for people to conclude that he was sick merely because of the way he looks. “So be careful, do not look at the body and think all is well. Do not look at the big bodies and small bodies.
I have been accused of so many ailments but I’m looking at God to take care of me,” he said. Lungu said he would not hesitate to seek medical attention if he felt sick, and dismissed insinuations that he did not have long to live. “If I look sick, I do not feel sick and when I feel sick, I will go to the hospital. Mailo ati ‘Lungu is sick, he will die.’ Those are lies. The person who is dying is not known,” he said.
Lungu said people perceived low sugar as a disease. “Those worried about my health can go to the clinic and go and test me for the recent common disease. Pantu na sugar bulwele, everything bulwelwe na sugar nga yaba low bulwelwe elo nalishiba. But ine nali ipelesha nga naumfwa ati cakalipa nkaleka, nkesa landa ati naleka. (Even sugar is a sickness, when someone has low sugar it’s a sickness, I know. But I have offered myself, when I feel pain I will stop. I will come and tell you that I have stopped),” he said.
And Lungu said he would not use public resources for his campaigns, but that he would seek a ride from acting President Dr Guy Scott whenever he needed to. “The President is entitled to using his car and the helicopters and well, I will hitch a ride now. If I hitch a ride, bushe is that rigging?” he wondered.

On my way from Lusaka west I saw HH’s bill board that listed things like;

More jobs
Farmers
Low mealie price
bla bla bla.

But alas! This advert did not at all mention anything on how he will archieve such good deliverable. The chap has lost it completely.

At PF we are saying;

1. “We shall reduce mealie price by SETTING UP MILLING PLANTS IN DISTRICTS”.

2. We shall decentralize and create markets for agric produce by LINKING ZAMBIA

3. Improve lives of people by L200 project, reopen NITROGEN CHEMICALS, KAPILI GLASS FACTORY SOON ETC.

4. Develop Western province by linking this important part through infrastructure development. Mongu-Kalabo road.

4. Improve education. go and see Mulungushi University

5. Respect the rule of law. Its evident.
6. No abuse of public resources. Its our goal.

At least you are admitting slowing, yes sir diabetes is a chronic disease and can kill any time. Thats why you are weak, Low Sugar = Low Energy, poor liver functionality too.

Most fat people in Zambia are sick!! There are HIV+ or diabetic due to obesity. For HIV+ people ARV drugs make them look swollen that is not healthy. If i would choose between any Fat Albert and Lungu, Edgar Lungu is the health one!

The only thing negative about Lungu is the rumour that he is a Muslim, believe me you do n’t want Zambia to become a terrorist country like other muslim countries.

Hitching a ride in its ordinary sense really has nothing to do with rigging thus its true he shouldn’t wonder! What he needs to know however is that he will be taking pecuniary advantage.

Are you telling me that HH has never been sick before?Moneni mwebantu imwe,just like Lungu said,if we take medical tests many will be diagonised with different diseases.And many people who are working in different companies are also sick of different illnesses but they are still working.Naimwe bane mwebalalanda mwaba na malwele ayengi you are in and out of the hospital and no one talks about your illness because everyone hopes you will be okey someday.Hosipitals are there to treat our diseases.Even an HIV person can still be president and by law you cannot deny the person because of their health status.
