Don’t Risk Voting For People Who Don’t Understand The Projects PF Started -Scott

Acting  President Guy Scott has implored Luanshya residents to give the Patriotic Front (PF) a massive vote at this month’s presidential election for the sake of continuity.
Dr Scott said the January 20 election is not about ushering in a new government but replacing late President Sata with another PF member.
“You have seen the works of the PF, development is everywhere. Do not risk putting new people in government who do not understand the projects PF started in 2011,” he said.
Dr Scott was speaking when he addressed a rally held at Luanshya’s Mikomfwa Health Centre grounds yesterday.
He said only PF candidate Edgar Lungu understands the programme that was started by late President Sata.
Dr Scott said all the works done are in line with the PF manifesto, the reason his party is pleading for votes in order to complete all projects.
At the same rally, Minister of Youth and Sport Chishimba Kambwili urged Luanshya residents to vote for Mr Lungu.
He said money has already been released to rehabilitate township roads in the district.
Mr Kambwili, who is also Roan Member of Parliament (MP) said the youth resource centre under construction is scheduled to be completed this year.
The resource centre that will cost K9.3 million will include classes, hostels, an ablution block and staff houses.
Minister of Local Government and Housing Emmanuel Chenda disclosed that government has secured US$103 million for the rehabilitation of the water reticulation system in Luanshya, Ndola and Mpongwe under Kafubu Water and Sewarage Company.
The funding will also cater for the rehabilitation of Makoma dam in Luanshya.
He said contractors are expected to move on site soon and have been urged to employ youths in the area.
Mr Chenda said all the projects started in 2011 could only be well implemented if Mr Lungu is elected president on January 20.
Dr Scott later addressed another rally at Luanshya’s Kansengu grounds where he received defectors from MMD and the United Party for National Development.Earlier,  Dr Scott held a closed- door meeting with 11 Lamba chiefs from Masaiti, Mpongwe and Lufwanyama.
Dr Scott also inspected rehabilitation works at Luanshya main clinic

Mr. Scott sir the govt is the custodian and client of the projects, Project Management is the job of a Consultant, Project Supervision is for the Project Engineer thru the Resident Engineers to supervise, therefore change of Govt doesnt change anything on the life span of the project apart from change of client… even that govt structures remain the same – so your point is worthless. Sir.

      Wabepa @Judge Joe Bidden.
Until we separate government political appointments, until civil service ceases to be a preserve of political appointmentment, until Perm-secs cease to be born out of the president’s favour then all the goings on shall ever be intertwined. Think of the party that takes over deciding to terminate, reverse, cancel sealed deals & heaping the blame on the past govt. Examples abound: lapgreen, Fratelli loci, KKIA radars. Need I go on?
The Muzungu opusa is right. Hakainde’s team would be a reverse gear. The guy is a product of privatisaton loot of the ’90s for Christ’s Sake!!!

@Kakolwe say a Road Project is at 75% completion (only storm drains and landscaping remaining) how would change of Perm-Secretary affect the project at that stage?

Some usless bloggers will always comment rubbish. Becoming a president does not require you to be a councilor first. As long as you qualify according to zambian constitution then you can be.The likes of bloggers like Jimmy perharps should be given a grade 8 civics book for them to understand instead of expressing their ignorance here,

But HH has never worked in public service before. He was in the private sector making money for himself. You are in government to serve not to make money for yourself like HH did when he was liquidating parastatals.

@Gift. The minimum requirements for you to get into the School of Natural Scinces at UNZA is 30 points in 5 O-levels. So take your 25 points there, when they reject you, go to Judge Joe Bidden for an injunction at midnight to restrain senate from denying you a place having met the minimum Requirement with lots of cash. You’ll look an asss with a hole.
So even if Hakaivotela is 35++, but we have better candidates in Lungu, Brig Gen Miyanda and the like.

Why is people in this Country, and the UPND in particular want discriminate the people they think are terminally ill.

This should be a loud massage to all the people who have some health complications that according to UPND, they cannot hold office or participate in the running of this Country if elected into office.

I therefore ask all my colleagues with Sugar, BP, HIV, epilepsy, sickle cell, Alzheimer, Handicapped and with any condition at all, to ensure that they do not vote for UPND because their information is loud and clear.

At PF we do not segregate anyone at all. We are building hospitals so that we treat everyone with communicable diseases and we are developing state of the art technology to treat, otherwise terminal complications so that this Country can benefit from the skills of those people and improve the life of the afflicted.

UPND says the sick are not required at leadership level. What an insult!

    • Judge Joe Bidden

      January 5, 2015 at 6:12 pm

@Ken Edgar Lungu nobody bothered with his health, its only when he decided to run for presidency then its people’s concern. Sata spent about 60% of his short term ‘not well’ it was almost a disaster at UN in USA he remained bed ridden in a foreign hotel room… whats that? Good?

To avoid appearing dull, it pays to read through other people’s debate than to directly repeat a vanquished point. We have told you that the party in leadership controls govt. Now, which fool can give the party that ‘rubbished’ EVERYTHING’ PF did to complete the the dame rubbish? Ask HH when the rubbish became sweet & complete worthy?
      HH is a political NOVICE!!!

  17. sokolet

    January 5, 2015 at 11:41 pm

In this battle all the contestants are novices but there is one who is better than the others..If ten men have no sight the one with a single eye becomes a leader. among the ten or eleven one man EL (not sure either to address him as He or It as they do not call umuntu but chintu nangu fintu) confessed that he has no vision for Zambia but will follow the vision of the late president. Why taking such a risk of following a visionless leader? True to his words Ifintu tafikwata vision nakalya.

    • kakolwe

      January 6, 2015 at 7:18 am

Probably, you do not understand the meaning of the word NOVICE. Check it up and come back to the debate table.
About visions, welcome to the argument:
Lungu says, This is no time for personal visions and dreams because we have a collective vision of finnishing ALL the projects that were started by Sata’s leadeship. You follow the Post’s interpretation. Lobe!
Ifintu ni Lungu? You imply that to be Objects are Lungu? Another miss. You are stuck in diction. The conotative meaning to that cliche is that among all contestants, the substance is only in Lungu.
