UPND Is Panicking Over RB’s Weight For Lungu -Luo
Munali Member of Parliament (PF) Nkandu Luo says the United Party National Development (UPND) is panicking now that former President Rupiah Banda has thrown his weight behind the candidature of the PF’s Edgar Lungu in the January 20 poll.
Professor Luo who is also Minister of Chiefs and Traditional Affairs said in a statement yesterday that the endorsement of Mr Lungu by Mr Banda has pushed the UPND in a tight corner.
“UPND is now panicking and that is why they are now bringing all sorts of stories to dent the image of our former head of state,” she said.
Prof Luo said the UPND’s desperation is now a threat to national security as its cadres will allegedly soon embark on a violent campaign.
She disputed reports that Mr Banda is supporting Mr Lungu so that he can drop charges against him if he is elected.
“This story is purely a fabrication by the UPND. RB in his meeting with Edgar Lungu only talked about national unity, building of the united Zambia and the spirit of reconciliation, uniting all the 73 tribes under the umbrella of one Zambia one nation,” Prof Luo said
She said Zambians are just interested in seeing national unity and economic, social and political development.
“The infrastructure development which the Patriotic Front (PF) government has embarked on throughout the country has made most Zambians happy and they wouldn’t want to change the government now,” Prof Luo said
Meanwhile, Mr Lungu today moves his campaign trial to Rufunsa, Chongwe and Kafue where he will address rallies.

WHY EDGAR WILL LOSE TO HH BY 5%.
Rupiah Banda has destroyed the image of Edgar Lungu. Most Zambians know Rupiah to be a very corrupt man, no wonder a lot of them did not vote for him in 2011 despite him being the president. So with Rupiah joining Lungu campaigns, it means Lungu has lost 50% of his votes in Lusaka and Copperbelt Province. A lot of people see that voting for Edgar Lungu is just the same as voting for Rupiah Banda the worst corrupt President in the History of Zambia.
Edgar has gained a lot of votes from Eastern Province especially Chipata, due to the support of he has received from Rupiah, but at the same time, he has lost a lot of from Copperbelt and Lusaka Provinces due to the sapot from Rupiah.
This means HH will win the presidency by 38%, while Edgar Lungu will get 35%.

Surely, the PF should withdraw its Presidential Candidate Edgar Lungu to save some few remaining borrowed money from being completely swept.
Hakainde Hichilema will win the coming 20th January 2015, whatever Edgar Lungu and Rupiah Banda do.
HH is the next President of this beautfull country.

U are dreaming with your HH. Why is RB supporting EL an issue when VJ is supporting HH not an issues. VJ rigged elections many times and he is bad image. HH stolen money from privatization and now put him in state house? No way. He will lose this one no matter what. HH already has enough money to help poor Zambians, does sleeping in state make it different if the man is not a giver.

NAKONDE ELECTION POLLING STAFFS PUT THE ACCOUNTANT TO TASK OVER K200 BEING PAID AS SITTING ALLOWANCE.
About 308 election staffs in Nakonde this afternoon took the ECZ Accountant to task over the K200 which each of the staff is being paid per day which they claim was not uniform across the country. The named polling Assistant asked the accountant to clarify whether the ECZ’s rates were varying from districts to districts as other polling assistants in other districts such as Mporokoso were receiving K250 as sitting allowance plus snacks while those from Nakonde District were just being paid K200 plus snacks. She claimed to have received the information on phone from her young sister who is also training as a Polling Assistant.
The seemingly confused accountant tried to explain to the polling staffs but failed to convince them over the variation in the rates and advised them to research widely or through emails. In confusion, the named accountant was forced to disclose that on the actual day, Polling Assistants will be paid K350 per day x 3 days = K1, 050.
But what annoyed the 308 Election Poling Staffs more, was the statement made by one of the named local ECZ official. The local official told the Polling Staffs that those that were not happy with K200 being paid by ECZ should come out in open and quit the exercise so that a quick replacement can be made.
This really annoyed the staffs especially teachers who demanded an apology from the officer claiming that his statement amounted to intimidation, but the officer in questions refused to be blackmailed to apologize saying his mind was up to date and maintained his earlier sentiment.
From the information collected by the Accurate Sources, about 1369 Nakonde residents applied to be Polling Staffs in the district, but only 308 were picked as ECZ drastically reduced the number.
Nakonde District Council is notoriously corrupt and known for nepotism and tribalism when it comes to issues to do with money. Currently nearly 90% of council workers at Nakonde Distict have been recruited as Polling Staffs leaving their offices closed for three days and 50% of those other non district council workers picked, are either children, friends, relatives, girlfriends or tribes mate to Nakonde Senoir Staff Workers. 60% of Nakonde District Council Workers are Tumbukas and one cannot be surprised to find majority of the recruited ECZ Poling Staffs coming from Muyombe, east of Muchinga Province.

… Are these PF ministers smoking weed or what? Who is perpetrating violence right now? Is it not PF cadres that are in the frontrunners in the trade of violence? Even EL ascended to power thru intimidation and violence. Icindikeni ba Luo muli bakalamba.

Easterners are a bit backward and believe in “wako ni wako”. So EL used RB and remnant of Dora to carry out a massive campaign in Eastern Province. Now the campaign in Eastern is over the duo has become irrelevant and dumped. Meanwhile the court cases shall resurface after 20/01/2015.
Today EL is in Luapula minus RB who was told to be next to his sick wife in New Kasama, Lusaka.
