UPND Reject Munkombwe’s Remarks

We wish to disassociate ourselves completely from comments made at the Choma rally yesterday by PF Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe.

Any appeal he made to voters based on tribe is rejected by our campaign completely. The foundation of our message has always been one of national unity, inclusiveness and equality. This is without exception.

We also stand in direct opposition to past remarks of Mr Munkonbwe who has been reported as saying “politicians go into government to eat”. This is in direct contrast to our position.

Indeed, the selfishness and poor quality leadership of politicians in the past is what has held Zambia back from reaching its potential, it is the reason why our people remain in poverty even though there is so much natural wealth within our borders.

We are encouraging Zambians to vote for Mr Hichilema because of his desire to serve all Zambians, his track record as an economic manager and successful farmer, his Christian values and his opposition to tribal and panga politics.

Dipak Patel
UPND Campaign Manager

HH was shown on TV applauding Munkombwe after he had spoken and sat down by saying , “Thank you, Mudala”. This shows HH approved of what Munkombwe said.

Four days before the D-day & UPND has gone into ‘Self-distruct’ mode. Munkombwe strikes the Archiles heel. Today, Mutati must save face & go to Lunte & say: Bantu bandi, am sorry I supported th wrong team whose sole-purpose has been to use me to help their tribe get into state house!! That way, he may save some semblance of reputation. Same naba Mucheleka.

Of course Dipak Patel is not tonga. he is not even UPND. He was seconded to UPND by UPND financier for this election Matani. Let me educate him. What Munkombwe said is the foundation of UPND. You remove that there is no UPND. Nicofye Munkombwe wacasakanwa otherwise most tongas supporting UPND think just like that!

It is a pity when tribalism comes pre-installed in someone right at birth. Other tribes have moved on and strive to educate siblings about acceptance people from beyond.
Think beyond your tribe old fossil.

Patel distances the party from Munkombwe’s statement. Just when he is putting down his pen, Shakafuswa rises on a point of correction and endorses Munkombe’s tribe talk. Can UPND president clear this matter. The people in your party are confusing the electorates. Should they vote for you because you have substance of leadership or because it is time for a Tonga to be president.

Once again HH has lost a seater! He should have publicly blasted Uncle Dan ! Instead there he was embracing ba dala!
Thats an own goal! Thats exactly why many are apprehensive about UPND. Myopic tribalism and yet they a minority demographic wise.
Thank you ba dala for scoring for PF! After all you are steal wearing PF shirts and PF govermnt is giving you salarry for for food. President Lungu might buy you some more food since you like eating!
Too bad Micheal Sata is not here to see what a snake you have become!

When did Daniel Munkombwe ever become the mouth piece of UPND? He represents the small and large intestines only, plus the famous exit down the road. The core message of UPND is the direct opposite of what the old geyser said. Who needs his endorsement anyway? Just like Bishop Chomba, hunger has driven Daniel to the point of immorality.

The tribal tag that UPND has been carrying is their birth right. No one can take it from them. All those aligning with UPND are doing so at their on own self destruction. To change this mindset from TONGAS is a sheer waste of time otherwise the are created like that. Ask those who work and worship with them, its very difficult. I doubt even those who are following them if at all they know them. To associate with a Tonga is really a problem. I have worked and lived with different Tongas.

It is that type of talk as shown by Munkombwe which has destroyed virtually everything UPND has gained to date. How can an experienced politician such as Munkombwe say things like that at a public rally. Now I can safely say that HH has no place in state house we will not allow an individual who is so tribally inclined to take his Tonga tribalism to state house. ABASH TONGA TRIBALISM VIVA IMPARTIALITY, OBJECTIVITY,HONESTY AND FAIRNESS.

Blood is thicker than water . Upnd is and it has and it will ever be tribal unless they disolve it and vote for a fresh leader with no tribal inclination like a lamba or kachokwe. Kikikiki
