If we have 5,100,000 registered voter’s and taking into consideration the apathy levels, supposed nation wide 38% turn up, that ‘ll translate into 1,938,000 voter turn out. PF strong holds account for 63% of registered voters. Edgar has scored an average 70% in his strongholds. 37% of the projected voter turn out is 717060 and that’s not enough to beat the 70% of ECL’s 63% strongholds. I’ve already bought the champagne for ECL’s victory. PABWATOO!!!

I knew it! It is totally impractical to unseat a government after the demise of the president as their is alot of sympathy vote. All Edgar needed to say is, “I will finish HEMCS’s projects and move forward at the same pace in terms of infrastructure developments and fine the agriculture policies”, and all agreed with him.
My only regret is the cost of these unnecessary elections, if only HEMCS had listened to us about enacting a new constitution.
Anyway, Edgar, you are a lawyer and if you win please follow the road-map you yourself released and give us a constitution with a running mate clause in place, please twanaka wasting resources after the demise of a president.
Secondly, try hard to fine tune the agriculture policy especially the maize marketing and FISP.
Crystal Clear
January 21, 2015 at 5:54 pm
Does it mean that if the new constitution was enacted then Guy Scott would have automatically become a running mate, I doubt that as a running mate is electable together with the president at national level, therefore only this by election could have invoked the running mate clause.

Southern Province Minister Daniel Munkombwe is again in the thick of things calling for the secession of Southern Province region from the rest of Zambia because Zambians have rejected opposition UPND leader Hakainde Hichilema in Tuesday’s Presidential election.
Mr Munkombwe’s remarks come in the wake of Presidential election results which have not gone well to Hakainde Hichilema. Edgar Lungu of the ruling Patriotic Front Party has taken an early emphatic lead in 6 Provinces which include Copperbelt, Lusaka, Northern, Luapula, Muchinga, Eastern and part of Central Province.
He was recently involved in tribal remarks during a UPND rally where he said it was time for a Tonga to be President of Zambia.

It is difficult to understand how a well-known drunkard, a gambler, a thief can be floated to lead this country by people who consider themselves patriots, citizens of goodwill. It is very difficult to understand how well-known tribalists and corrupt elements can be floated for the leadership of a country with over 73 tribes and such serious economic and social problems requiring a very high level of honesty in the use of public funds and other resources….Zambians have not suffered yet..All the poverty, the denial of bursaries of their only sharp kids, the wage frees, the embezzlement, the accruing borrowing….Actually most Zambians have never seen true development…just check around shopping malls (which they think is development, taking photos on escalators) and see how they behave..even bloggers here are a good sample of poverty stricken Zambians…khikikikiki..DIE WITH YOUR POVERTY AND UNDERDEVELOPMENT
