I Can’t Travel To Zambia, I’m Expecting – Evelyn Mutubila
ZAMBIA’s ambassador to Italy Frank Mutubila has withdrawn his application for an injunction restraining his estranged wife Evelyn from living with him and for the High Court to order his wife leave Italy following Government’s revocation of her diplomatic status.
This is according to a notice of withdrawal of injunction filed by Mr Mutubila’s lawyers.
And the High Court has set August 7 this year as the date on which to hear the matter.
When the matter came up before High Court judge Fulgence Chisanga for fixing of date of hearing, Mrs Mutubila’s lawyers indicated that she has intentions to defend the petition but that she cannot travel to Zambia now as she is pregnant.
She said through her lawyers that she would only be able to travel to Zambia in August this year.
Mr Mutubila’s lawyers asked the court to adjourn the matter to enable his wife Evelyn to file an affidavit in opposition.
And Justice Chisanga adjourned the matter, saying in view of Mrs Mutubila’s intention to defend the petition, she had to set a date that would enable her attend the hearing.
Mr Mutubila said his wife’s continued stay in Italy is causing him great embarrassment, mental and emotional anguish.
He said his wife’s diplomatic status was revoked by Government and was recalled to Zambia but that she has since disregarded the directive, refused to leave Italy and the official residence.
Mr Mutubila said his wife’s continued stay at the official embassy residence in Italy has negatively affected his reputation as well as that of Government, adding that he has urged her to return to Zambia to live in their matrimonial home in Lusaka’s Kabulonga.

No need to laugh at Frank or condemn Evelyn.This world is full of issues.No one will ever know what will befall him in this world no one.I wonder how Evelyn is surving the pressure in her state with all these issues surrounding her.
My advise to Frank though I know its not easy is to let Evelyn stay untill she delivers so that if need be carry out a DNA test or check the color of the child after birth.
You just never Frank you never know.Otherwise you are both in prayers.

I totally understand evelyns situation and I support her decision to getting pregnant ..she needs to have a child and experience motherhood ..every woman longs for a child ..if I were in her position I would do the same ..either divorce or ask my husband to let me get pregnant by artificial insermination or by a another man..uluse ba frank..just try to work things out..

Actually the child that I have is not my husband biological child..I cheated on him bcz of the same situation evelyn is going through. .but later after giving birth I was guilty and very unhappy knowing what I did I finally told my husband the truth that it wasn’t his child..he forgave me since he couldn’t give me a child..we have moved on n stil together. .n both Happy.shit happens
