Nkausu Rejoins ‘Amatuks’

BLOEMFONTEIN Celtic Chipolopolo defender Davies Nkausu has rejoined Absa Premiership side University of Pretoria on a six-month loan.
And Mamelodi Sundowns Zambia defender Hichani Himoonde is training with Super Division Lusaka Dynamos.
Nkausu has rejoined ‘Amatuks’ his first club in South Africa after spending a year at Celtic.
“It is a done deal and I have joined on loan for the rest of the season,” Nkausu, who has just returned from the Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, told Kickoff.com.
The 29-year-old Zambian played in all the group matches in Equatorial Guinea where Zambia were eliminated in the first round.
He joined Celtic last season on a three-and-a-half-years contract from SuperSport United.
Nkausu made 18 appearances last season but has only started three games this year.
And Himoonde, whose future is uncertain at Sundowns, is training with Dynamos with a view of rejoining his childhood club on loan.
Club vice-chairperson Madalitso Kamanga confirmed Himoonde’s presence at Queensmead Stadium.
“Yes he is training with us and the technical bench is still assessing him. Remember he has stayed for a long time without playing but we are interested in signing him but there is nothing as at now.
“It is same with Sydney [Kalume] and Josephat [Nkhoma], who are also training with us. They are experienced players but we will only sign them if they impress the technical bench,” Kamanga said.
Himoonde spent part of last season on loan at Zesco United while Kalume and Nkhoma featured for Nkana and Roan United, respectively.
Kalume and Nkhoma are former Dynamos players.
