42 In Bus Mishap, 1 Dies

MORE than 42 people sustained different degrees of injuries with many admitted to Kabwe General Hospital where one died while another is battling for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after the driver of the bus in which they were travelling lost control on the Great North Road in the early hours of Saturday.
Kabwe General Hospital (KGH) Medical Superintendent George Chipulu said 42 people were referred to the hospital where they were treated for different injuries while 17 were admitted.
“We received 42 accident victims and discharged some after treating them for different injuries but we admitted 17 of whom one died of head injuries while the other one is in the ICU.
We have 16 patients so far and they have different injuries,” said Dr. Chipulu.
And one of the survivors only identified as Chella narrated that the driver of the North bound Higer bus registration number ALV 1369 belonging to 7 Ngosa Bus services and driven by Clement Shamuliki was trying to overtake but lost control and careered off the road.
Police sources also confirmed the accident and stated that the wreckage was parked at Manyumbi check point. Out-going Central Province commissioner of Police Standwel Lungu could not be reached for comment.
And Kabwe Mayor Richard Bango who visited the victims at the hospital expressed shock at the rate of road accidents on the road.
Mr Bango who wished the victims a quick recovery also took time to urge motorists to be extra careful when on the road especially during the rainy season.
He was accompanied by Kawama ward councillor Lackson Mafoko, in whose ward the hospital is situated.

The deceit called Synagogue Church of all Nation. Everything about TB Joshua is fâkê. “Joshua is involved in alarming and horrific activities that require the intervention of the uncorrupt police.

Two wrongs can never make one good if added together. I would advise all those returning insults to Mulenga to resist from doing that, because we would not know who is wrong. Insults are just a sign of not knowing what to advise the other fellow.
