Medics counsel Men With Sexual Disorders

THE Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) has urged men with sexual disorders to seek orthodox medical attention instead of traditional herbs.
And some Lusaka residents have called on Government to curb the illegal sale of sexual boosters on the streets.
ZMA president Aaron Mujajati said Zambia has qualified urologists and sexologists who can help those with sexual disorders.
Dr Mujajati was reacting to recent reports of two men of Mwansabombwe who are battling for their lives after taking traditional sex enhancing herbs.
Dr Mujajati said unlike traditional healers, conventional doctors operate and are guided by the professional code of ethics.
He cautioned men to be aware that not all sexual disorders require drugs as some conditions are psychological and might only require counselling.
He called on government to work with the relevant authorities to rid the city of misleading messages on sex boosters.
Dr Mujajati said the ZMA will conduct sensitisation campaigns on how men can deal with various sexual orders.
Meanwhile, a Lusaka resident, Richard Zulu, has attributed the rise in rape cases to the sale of sexual boosters.
“Last week in Kafue a 27-year-old man raped his grandmother after taking the so called mutototo (sex boosters). The sale of this concoction needs to be stopped because it is an illegal act,” he said.
The mutototo sex boosters, whose side effects are not known, are openly sold on the streets of Lusaka.
Another Lusaka resident, Jacqueline Mwape of Lilanda Township said herbal medicines are a health risk to the users.
“If this country has to win the fight against rape and defilement it should start with the people supplying these dangerous concoctions,” she said.
Lusaka City Council acting public relations manager Mulunda Habenzu said the council is aware of the vending trend of sex boosters.
“Some of these people come to register with us as traditional healers and when we license them, they start dealing in this illegal business,” he said.

these doctors in hospitals do not offer solutions, they only accelerate someone’s condition. You go tothe hospital today you are given six months appointment after six months you are given another three months notice with panado.and when someone dies outside the hospital or gets help from herberists our medical doctors speak the loudest as if they offer any help. I took my child to ADH ndola we stayed in hospital for 3 days without being given medicine to the problem only panadol. Doctors are the cause of rampant use of untested herbs.

THIS SHOULD READ “MEDICS COUNSEL PF MEN WITH SEXUAL DISORDERS”. They follow through what their president does. Drunkards are known to have a lower sexual inhibition and tend to be the major culprits of sexual abuse and the like. Please let us vote wisely in 2016 and get rid of the scum. We have a leadership crisis in Zambia, very sad state of affairs. The dull fools have the majority voting power. we need an educational and enlightenment revolution in this dark country called zambia. because next time evena dog will stand and win.
