How T.B. Joshua Prophesied Nigerian Election Postponement In February 2014

Amidst the controversy swirling around the decision by the electoral commission to postpone Nigeria’s elections by six weeks, Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua has released a video online with a prophecy he allegedly gave one year ago.

“What I am seeing is heavy. I am seeing rain – the cloud is darker. The fulfillment of 2015 – pray for it,” Joshua told congregants on February 9th 2014 in a clip uploaded to YouTube channel ‘Emmanuel TV’.

“Is that not the time of elections? Democracy is sweet – pray that your democracy would not be rubbished,” he continued.

Clarifying further, the cleric added, “I am seeing disagreement at the end of the day and that disagreement can result to anything. Nigeria, these are the challenges you are going to face – challenges of disagreement… They will want to fight; we have to pray.”

The clip concluded with another segment of Joshua addressing his congregation, this time on November 9th 2014. “Pray for your nation,” he said. “If you are able to cross this election, you cross it all. The election you are about to do will determine Nigeria.”

The elections, which were scheduled to hold on February 14th 2015, have been shifted to 28th March, in a move widely criticized as being ‘undemocratic’.

The electoral commission cited security concerns as the reason for the postponement with several areas in the north-east of the country still under the control of Islamic terrorist group Boko Haram.

TB Joshua is not a real prophet. What is a prophet of God supposed to prophecy about? Is it not things connected to God? This ” prophet ” prophecies about everything but things connected to God. He prophecies about planes, soccer, presidents, etc.. Just like a fortune teller!!!

The sane world eagerly awaits the day when that lunatic con-man Pastor TB Joshua shuts up forever and dies.

After erecting an illegal 6-floor structure on a foundation designed for ONE floor, and then preventing rescuers from saving the lives of those trapped inside for a whole fûcking day after the building collapsed into rubble, this thieving bastard still has the gall to issue his usual brain-dead declarations to the press, even as the South Africans get ready to sue him into well-deserved bankruptcy, over their citizens killed alongside 120 other lemmings in that rickety building.

Fûck you TB Joshu and you can take your death-cult press releases and cram them up your crusty asz.

The best is to keep quiet if you do not watch Emmanuel tv.We who watch and pray with the Prophet know that he did prophesy the SCOAN unfortunate incident during his first service upon return from a very successful crusade in Columbia.
Do not be deceived.TB Joshua is a true Prophet.Allow GOD to speak to your conscience. You shall know the TRUTH and the truth will set you free.Emmanuel!

Really stupid.. Anybody can predict that the aftermath of elections in an African country (especially one like Nigeria) will include disagreements and allegations of rigging. This is not rocket science. It pains me to see gullible people like the first commenter (humphrey) live in such deception. Like open your f@cking eyes!

Open your gullible eyes! Free your mind from such stupidity. If you claim to be a Christian, then according to the bible you’ve been anointed too and there is nothing special about TB Joshua. What kind of curse do you speak of? A curse from God or from TB? Those are the lies that superstitions feed you, and you openly embrace them without questioning.

Uyu kapuli is a chance with his open ended ‘prophesies’ left to self interpretation by his blind gullible followers. As I prophecise, please do not underestimate the combined power of stupidity in any given group, hence the massive problems our world faces.

As a Christian I am not going to comment against this man because I do not know him or follow him. Though, from reading what he said; I see no prediction of anything in what he said. Saying there will be disagreements in an election is like saying there will be punches at the next heavyweight boxing match. I am not in the business of attacking anyones religious standing, but lets be careful about turning the mans sermons into prophecies, especially after the fact.

Oh there was a fire yesterday, well TBJ said fire burns 2 weeks ago so he predicted it.

Point of correction. TB Joshua and his church are the ones who come out to the public with the videos. They make a video stating what was supposedly predicted or ‘prophesied’ after something similar comes to pass. We, the general public, are not turning his sermons into prophecies, he and his church are doing that.
