Man To Lose A Vitz After Loosing Presidential Election Bet
A CHIPATA mechanic has dragged his friend to court after he refused to surrender a vehicle following a bet on who was going to win last month’s presidential election between PF’s Edgar Lungu and UPND’s Hakainde Hichilema.
“At first I suggested that we bet K50 but he said it was too small. I said K500, again he said it was small until in the end he said he will bet his Vitz. I told him that I don’t have a vehicle because the only vehicle I had was down until we settled for a house. We agreed and this is even written somewhere and my wife is a witness. When Hichilema was doing fine in some areas, he used to come to my place to tell me that I will only be given five days to depart the house upon Hichilema winning,” Tembo said.
He wondered why Mbewe could not fulfill his promise after the election results were announced.

That man should be advised to leave his friend alone and stop being petty and withdraw the case from the courts of law at once.
The truth is ladies and gentlemen is that HH is the true and genuine winner of the just ended January 20 Presidential Elections.
Edgar Lungu only stole the victory from HH and illegally went to the Heroes Stadium to be sworn in.
The Drunkard can not win the election and it will even be impossible for his party to retain the Chawama seat in March.
If anything, the man in the house should just vacate the house to allow the man who was for HH to take up the house because the candidate he was supporting was the genuine winner and not the Kachasu Man who was just imposed on the people of Zambia.
The Kachasu Man has even failed to put his full cabinet and the Rupiah Banda legacy he is following is just gallivanting around the world wasting tax payers’ moneu.

You know that many of SATA’s contemporaries and serious minded people alike, used to say that SATA will never be president of this country…History has taught us not to say never.
If God has a right time for HH to rule this country, you will have no control. HH will rule this country pretty soon.

Some legal Opinion (advice to Mbewe in defence)
1. This was just a social agreement and not a contractual one, unless intention to create legal relations is proved by the plaintiff.
2. Unlicensed betting is illegal and cannot be enforced by the court- this was an illegal transaction

True and proper legal advice…before you even think of taking your friend to court, find out if what you agreed can be legally enforced. What you did was illegal betting and you can be arrested for that, it is the same as lending money without proper papers (Kaloba) though common but illegal.

This is a typical easterner just like his president. The fool does not realise that this bet is not enforceable in the Zambian courts. An illegal bet cannot be enforced. He who comes to seek equity must come with clean hands. I would not be surprised if the lawyer representing this cockhead is the president of zambia himself. When HH is insulted left, right and centre, some fools think it is okey. But when Lungu is insulted then it is a crime….what is good for the goose must certainly be good for the gander….let us not have double standards. HH won these elections and even Lungu knows. Even if he didn’t, the fact of the matter is it was a crucial competition. HH gave them a run and it beats me when people say he cannot and will never rule this country. How? A person who is almost as famous as Lungu (if not more). Just look at how close they were racing….one day wina azakalila…lets wait and see….
