Lengwe, 45, of house number 5A, New Township of Kasama has been charged with one count of failure to declare Interest contrary to Section 28(2) of the Anti-Corruption Act number 3 of 2012.
This is according to a statement issued in Lusaka yesterday by ACC public relations manager Timothy Moono.
Particulars of the case are that on unknown dates but between April 1, 2013 and June 30, 2013 in Kasama, Lengwe, being a public officer failed to declare interest when he participated and chaired the evaluation committee that interviewed and evaluated his wife Gwenny Nyambe’s application for funding under the Youth Development Fund.

There we go. PF at it again. The truth eventually comes out and now we are getting a picture of all the illegal activities that have been taking place since 2011. Wasnt this the youth fund one kambwili proudly spoke highly of. Now they have been found wanting with their pants down. Foolish thing is that the youth voted this useless party on the basis of the same support they are stealing. Be wise and vote HH. very uneducated and dull youths. wake up

You are very dull. The issue here is not about whether she was eligible or not. The issues is that anyone who has an interest when holding public office needs to declare it. What is so difficult about understanding simple rules? You are the rifraff you PF fool. You see nothing wrong with nepotism and favouritism. Please let us vote in UPND and clean up this mess
