Mpulungu Mother Dips Child Into Boiling Water Because She ate a piece of Chicken
A Mpulungu mother has caused severe burns to her daughter after she dipped her hands in a pot of boiling water as punishment for eating a piece of fish.
Simumbele village headman, Luckson Mpepo confirmed this to Kasama’s Radio Mano, saying the incident happened yesterday and named the victim as Chibwe Nanyangwe.
Mr. Mpepo stated primary investigations showed that the victim opened the lid of the cooking pot to merely taste whether there was enough salt in the fish or not.
The traditional leader has since described the situation as unfortunate.
Meanwhile, the victim’s mother only identified as Bana-junior-Nachilima was by press time said to have left for a church gathering leaving the young girl in a desperate situation.

The she-devil should be arrested. That headman of the village where this took place should have ensured that this evil woman is arrested for causing grievious bodily harm to an innocent baby. Even if if it is factual that the baby ate a piece of chicken or piece of fish or a piece of whatever food it may be, but surely as parents aren’t we supposed to fend for and to feed our children? This woman must face the wrath of the law for causing grievious bodily harm to an innocent baby. She is not fit to enter any place of worship.

I am not surprised. High poverty levels which the PF have failed to deal with have led to such atrocious acts by people on their own blood. It is very embarraisng in this day and age. Even more shocking when the PF comes out and says that they have carried out lots of development in Zambia. To them, building a sub standard road with poor network and lack of planning is what development is. We in the UPND will ensure food security is top on our agenda. We will promote efficient crop, livestock and fish production through improved farming methods and disease control for increasing rural incomes for farmers.

Just because it is not new doesn not make it right. It does not mean that we should not dig deeper to find the problem and cause of this problem. Am sure we all know that hunger plays a big role, poverty too. And when you further search for causes you will see the link between poor leadership and poverty. Even a grade 5 knows this. Simple, logical way of thinking. That is what UPND will give you

Mpulungu is one of the districts in Zambia from where reports of extreme cruelty and strange sexual depravity emanate. Could one of the reasons be because of the very hot temperatures throughout the year, one wonders!
