DPP Nchito Enters a Nolle Proseequi on HH’s case.

DIRECTOR of Public Prosecutions Mutembo Nchito has discontinued a case in which UPND president Hakainde Hichilema was charged with publication of false news with intent to cause fear and alarm to the public.
Mr Nchito has entered a nolle prosequi in the case against Hichilema pursuant to the powers vested in him by section 81 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code Chapter 88 of the Laws of Zambia. “Following the decision of the High Court, in the case of Macdonald Chipenzi, Richard Sakala and Simon Mwanza v The People, to strike down section 67 for its lack of consistency with the Constitution and the declaration that ‘a prosecution based on section 67 of the Penal Code is itself inconsistent with the constitutional guarantee and equally invalid’, it has become necessary to discontinue the proceedings against Mr Hichilema. A nolle prosequi pursuant to section 81 (1) of the Criminal Procedure Code Chapter 88 of the Laws of Zambia has therefore been filed into court to discontinue the proceedings,” read the statement issued by the National Prosecutions Authority. And the NPA further stated that they sought guidance from acting Attorney General Abraham Mwansa on the ruling of the High Court in the case of Macdonald Chipenzi and Others where he has directed that it should be appealed against.

mutembo nchito can’t continue with akainde icilemas case..even if akainde killed that upnd cadre..reason being nchito is too a Freemason..Freemasons are a group of really rich people who have gained their wealth by selling their souls to the devil…and they make an oath to defend and protect each other until the end.. then they do each other..I saw akainde eyeing nchito I think they will get it on at night..these are bad seeds

Our Pf Government Has Caused All This, We Should Just Wait For More Nolle Preseequi. Why Not Defend Others After You Defend Yourself. You Are Doing Fine Mr Nchito. This Is No Time For Who To Take To Court But Where To Take Development.

@ Eab What Legal Sanity Are You Talking About? Ask Yourself, Did They Investigate Mutembo Nchito When They Took Him To Court? Now Tell Me, Who Needs Legal Sanity. You Say They Should Fire Mutembo Nchito, For What? This Is Not A Farm Where You Choose Which Pig To Kill.

MUTEMBO NCHITO is abusing his abusing the office of DPP and the best thing is for him to resign if he is a lawyer worth his salt. He should not bring this office in disrepute simply because he knows he cannot be fired. LAZ this where you take a serious look at the whole scene although I know the majority of your members are not a serious lot.

An excellent sign of political persecution under the rule of the PF and sata to be specific. It is just a pity that the DPP has only just awoken from his politcal slumber. In the UPND we will ensure that the DPP and all high office bearers in the legal fraternity are answerable to panels and account in detail for their actions whenever their actions are deemed controversial by the public. Vote UPND to ensure a transparent and fair application of the law. The PF has again proved to be biased and political persecutors.

Where in my comment have i stated that I trust him? We have to trust his office due to constitution but whether we actually trust the man is another story. His actions presently show that he was compromised in the PF government. That is why am saying vote UPND to avoid this

We hear Edgar Lungu went to Chipata to touch the breasts of 5 young women provided by the Paramount Chief. If that was not an offense then I berge for your honest answer.

Edgar Lungu has proved to all Zambians that heis immoral. Why leave your wife just to touch the breasts of 5 Ngoni Grade 12 School Girls and cheat them employment after they complete school.
The poor girls were yesterday sexual abused at a secrete location in Mutenguleni Village in Chipata.

Life is such. Some will be happy while others will be unhappy on the DPP’s ruling. Well, I am wondering whether Tumfweko now is becoming neutral or just professional. The behaviour of DPP is conciding with Tumfweko’s.

Mutembo knows his nchito. Enchito iyi.
    Bravo ba Mutembo mwabombeni.
Mutembo is becoming the man of action.
In the name of Jesus I command all cases against him to be thrown out. They are malicious charges aimed at frustrating his office to administer justice by corrupt evil characters afraid of being prosecuted.
Let Mr. Nchito finish his business. Spare the man. He is a strong dpp. The continuity of cases against him is unconstitutional. Ng’uni must think twice and read the mood of the nation properly. Which side of the law is he?
The dpp must continue hammering hard on the evil corrupt group trying to frustrate him.
All must support the dpp in this case.
