Matapa Death: Police Nab One More

POLICE in Lusaka have arrested another suspect, bringing the number of suspects arrested in connection with the death of United Paty for National Development official Grayzer Matapa to three.
Police deputy spokesperson Esther Katongo said in an interview in Lusaka yesterday that the suspect was picked up at a lodge in Lusaka’s Bauleni township where he was hiding.
“We will not give you the details of the suspect  for security reasons, but this person was picked up after a tip-off from members of the public,’’ she said.
Mrs Katongo said police have continued with investigations into the death of Mr Matapa.
Mr Matapa is believed to have been murdered in Lusaka’s Mtendere.
And police have picked up two bodies of male persons aged between 30 to 40 years in Lusaka’s Misisi township.

It is disheartening when your president goes ahead to state that he is sure the PF cadres were not involved. Then what is the point in us trusting the police and courts to do a fair and unbiased investigation? People have lost faith and confidence in the legal systems of this country. PF has really cheapened zambia. And soon this will be a zimbabwe

I’m just appealing to the police to continue with the investigation on the death of Glayzer Matapa and these other guys who were murdered in Misisi compound. If these culprits were seven and three are arrested, which means four more murderers are yet to be arrested.Let these culprits brought to book, they deserve to be punished.
