THE under-23 national team will today regroup in Lusaka to intensify preparations for the 2015 All-Africa Games qualifiers.
Zambia will face the winner between Nigeria and Gabon on March 21 in Lusaka.
Nigeria are carrying a 4-1 lead from the first leg while Zambia had a walkover to the first round after Madagascar withdrew from the competition due to financial constraints.
Coach Fighton Simukonda said in Chingola yesterday that all the 34 players summoned are expected to be in camp on time.
“We will prepare adequately for the match. That is why we are in the competition to qualify to the 2015 All-Africa and 2016 Olympic Games,” Simukonda said.
He said players who snubbed the team’s camping last month are still part of the team.
Simukonda said midfielder Mukuka Mulenga of South African side Bloemfontein Celtic and striker Ronald Kampamba who turns up for Egyptian side Wadi Degla will join five days before the match.
The squad:
Goalkeepers: Toaster Nsabata (Nchanga Rangers), Kenny Mumba (Red Arrows), Charles Mweemba (Nkana)

Can the government ban football and only allow golf.It is only in Golf were the spectators know the intention of the player.Look at footballers like Ronaldinho, his feet are all-over the ball and nobody knows were he is going to take the ball except himself.
