Kamboyi: Lungu’s Ministers Only There to Eat, They Will Leave Him In 2016
NORTH-Western Province Rainbow chairperson Richard Kamboyi says most of the people in President Edgar Lungu’s Cabinet are only there to ‘eat’ and will leave him alone in 2016.
And Kamboyi says it is strange that the people that president Michael Sata considered to be corrupt were the ones that were now being embraced by President Lungu.
In an interview yesterday, Kamboyi wondered why people who were labelled corrupt had suddenly become President Lungu’s ‘darlings’.
“President Edgar Lungu must not complain about those that are undermining him. Most of them are only there to eat and will leave him, come 2016. To start with, you remember way back, our late beloved president Michael Sata declared that his ministers were useless, of which even President Lungu was part. They never used to help him run the country. They were just there to represent themselves,” Kamboyi said. “The same has continued even in President Lungu’s Cabinet. People are only there for their own interests. They are only there to get a salary, make money for themselves…. Others are only there to take care of their corruption cases. Most of the people that president Sata considered to be corrupt are the ones President Lungu is embracing. People who have corruption cases in court, those are the ones that have become darlings to him. So he should not complain that there are some people undermining his authority because that is his own making.”
Kamboyi said there were many people in the PF who were ready to defect to join Rainbow.
He said there was need for President Lungu to know that he was only going to govern the country up to 2016.
“…and Rainbow will take over. There are many people that are coming from the PF; they are just waiting for their term of office to come to an end. Otherwise, we see nothing tangible in him leading the country. Rainbow has received a lot of support from the people of North-Western Province. Right now, I am in Ikeleng’i and people have really welcomed the party in the province,” Kamboyi said.
He said Rainbow would form government next year because the person who was at the helm of the party, Wynter Kabimba, had good leadership qualities.
Kamboyi said Kabimba was a straightforward person and had no corruption cases in the courts of law.

kabiyeni uko na ci RAINBOW PARTY CENU,a lot of people cannot vote for Kabimba a very talkative guy.I dnt think he is presidential material.He is a hooligan who advocated 4 the use of pangas in pf

Rainbow party will do harm by splitting votes. Some of these parties there is no need for them. How many different messages can people have in one country? ANyway its everyones right to form their own party and do as they want.

This is the politics that PF practice. It has taken the PF a long time to decide on expelling GBM because they thought they would lose a very huge source of income.Please vote for UPND to ensure transparency and integrity in politics

Did you see how they flocked to upnd when they heard lies that hh will win by over 85%. Even the fossil munkombwe finally summed it up by saying polictics of the belly. That the cabre of politicians we ve in zambia unfortunately. HH too could ve been hijacked by the same belly politicians if he won.

Presidential and General Elections in 2016 will be very exciting.I agree with @New Educated Zambian when he picks out Rainbow Party as a kalufyanya the vote splitter. In the same vain,Parties like UPND,FDD,MMD,UNIP,GREENS,NAREP,plus many of those tuntemba parties much just team up so that vote counting does not take long.VOTE PF IN 2016 VOTE PF IN 2016 VOTE PF IN 2016…YOU CANNOT DEFLATE A PATRIOT.ABASH 50+1 CLAUSE in the Animal driven Constitution.

Only cowards riding on minority popularity are scared of terms such as 50+1 clause. You are in for a rude shock in 2016. We knew that there was a high chance people would vote on emotional lines. It is normal for ruling party to do very well following demise of president. However, the results were shocking and appalling for a ruling party. A true testimony to the fact that lungu is not a very popular man. With the work on the ground and intensive people led campaigns we are carrying out, 2016 will be an easy ride. Vote UPND to ensure we remove the visionless and clueless man

I agree with you kamboyi. RB cried when he lost elections becoz of the amount of betrayal from his friends. our president shouldnt forget peole who helped him. Stop fighting HH becoz he is not a fsctor.

HH might not be a factor in your small head.However UPND is and will be a factor come 2016. What they showed you in 2015 was just what the common man calls ka dyonko. Deep down Lungu knows that HH has the ability and is capable of easily winning the next elections hence he is spending all his little energy on HH. Meanwhile the UPND is still mobilizing on the ground and ensuring no stones are left unturned. Vote UPND

ati winter kabimba will form government… is this through witch craft, because its winter kabimba who dropped beads pa state house..we might argue that those beads were pocket decorations or he was trying to bond with mother Zambia roots, but simple facts are that guy had bad juju, I wouldn’t be surprised if he is the one who pressed our president good bye,,let us see who is stronger God or kabimba

I can’t argue with ka educated,it seems the theory of arguing with a fool effects Ur image too..it seems u are the one who is trying ways to convince urself that akainde ichilema has a chance next year…im not at all worried about it yet I’m interested to know Edgar’s manifesto.. here he made it clear he wouldn’t promise anything yet finish up what our father left..he knew he would be a liar if he told Zambian people he would build this and that..I mean what can anyone do in a year.

Rainbow will be confined to Ruaral parts of Lusaka,Shibuyunji,Mumbwa and Chibombo.

if hh has a heart for zambian populas let him offer advise to the Republican president and he must start showing respect and accept that HE Chagwa Edgar Lungu is president of Zambia and let part of his so called money be used by poor zambians doing so he will win peoples hearts and surely the people of zambia will think twice and put him there he should also learn to smile

Ome of us do not care who splits votes or adds, the article is a very faithful one. On may ask, what has changed so far for LUNGU to have these corrupt elements as seen by the late SATA for LUNGU to appoint them now? If LUNGU was serious with cleansing the party , he should have started where Late SATA left. Most of the people LUNGU has called in to assist him run the government, every one educated enough know s that they were the riffruffs of SATA.SATA was a hush man, that much all of us realise, but was good at analysing issues. He knew exactly who his ememies were; It does not take a Rocket Scientist to know that most of the DCs are just injesters and belong somewhere else. As for me , I am only at pains to the leadership that are never sensitive to certain obvious things like these. You go and Join RB and KK, for what? when your superio was against such individuals. Are you trying to belittle him or what? Digging your own wrong tunnel.
