Lungu Namibia Bound

RESIDENT Edgar Lungu is next Saturday expected to travel to Namibia to attend the inauguration ceremony of that country’s newly-elected President Hage Geingob, Minister of Foreign Affairs Harry Kalaba has said.
Mr Kalaba said at a press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that Mr Lungu will be accompanied by former republican presidents Kenneth Kaunda and Rupiah Banda as well as former Minister of Foreign Affairs Vernon Mwaanga.
“The President is determined to ensure that the spirit of ‘One Zambia, One Nation’ continues to reflect in our character as a nation both at home and abroad,” he said.
Mr Kalaba said it is through this unified purpose and resolve that Zambia fought to bring freedom to other countries.
He said President Lungu wishes to continue with that important legacy and called on all Zambians to embrace unity, peace and stability.

While the ccountry has a mining, kwacha, and economic problem. Coupled with a compromised state police this chap is again travelling with chimpwena to countries which probably didn’t even attend his inauguration. During economic crisis andjust few mmonths in office one would think he would concentrate on internal issues and send a lower representative to such functions. No sense of priority from thevvision less man. Vote upnd

Well said. Was it not only tired, foolish old Mugabe the only president who attended his inauguration? Now he wants to attend each and every international conference? Lack of priorities indeed because Zambia is very broke and has a lot of pressing issues

This planet has pipo who can criticize everything that their oponet may say, to them they see nothing good till their master whom they support become a republican president. That is if a chance in hell happened coz for the look of things, this is a far fetched dream!
