UNZASU Dispels Rumour Of Se x Tape

The University of Zambia Student’s Union (UNZASU) has advised members of the public to stop peddling rumours of a possible sex video that was purportedly shot at the institution.

UNZASU Vice-President Martin Nundwe says talk of a possible obscene video from the institution are malicious and aimed at denting the the student’s image.

“On behalf of the student populace, I would like to dismiss claims that students here have shot and circulated obscene material on social media, we are busy studying” Nundwe said from his base at the institution.

He called on people to stop involving the university students in matters that would possibly destroy the institutions image at home and abroad to prospective students.

Zambia has in the recent past experienced a rise in short clips of sex videos in which young people can be seen performing acrobatic sexual styles and have ended up being widely shared on social media networks like Whatsapp and Facebook.

I find it weird that a union president of a university as large as UNZA can categorically come out and tell us that he knows what happens in every corner of the university and that he is aware of what digital content every student has made or is in possession of at unza. What this young man should have said is that he not aware of any such things being on unza grounds and that he will carry out a thorough investigation. The more and more cases like this start happening it means it might be time to review our laws in relation to nude private content. What one person does in their private time and privacy in terms of sexual relations as long as it is consented should not be criminalised.

We in the UPND will engage the youth and also instill awareness programs on the need to be responsible with media. As we all know, the world is changing every day and technology means that information and content is spread easily and fastly. We are still using law that applies to the old technology meanwhile we have made many advancements. The UPND will seek to engage the youth and involve them in formulating and eventually implementing a law that is agreeable and in tune with the current times when it comes to such cases. Again PF caught with its pants down. Vote UPND

Per etymonline, fastly is the ‘former adverbial form of fast which is an adjective “is just become obsolete in 19century if am not mistaken. Mune fastly is a word. It just happens to be an obsolete one. People now tend to use the word quickly. Remember that some of us are old tymers. And just as you PF guys claim, this language is not our own. There is no master of english. However, there are failures in leadership and the PF is doing a good job

Very sad affairs. I hope you used protection. We in the UPND will ensure that the youth and students are kept busy during their free time. We will introduce mentorship programs, social activities and societies that are actively run at university. We want students to give priority to their studies and enjoy their time at university rather than spend time sexually satisfying desperate aand unattractive men such as this king solomon for money. Vote UPND. Solomon marriage is a sacred thing if you are a married man
