LunguRepublican Zambian President Edgar Lungu has fallen ill at this year’s International Womens day celebration.

The President’s doctors have detected traces of malaria in his body and can’t continue at women’s day proceeding but instead the mantle has been left with gender Minister Prof. Nkandu Luo who has since taken over reports Kopalatimes.

This is viewed as one of the most transparent ache that the President’s health has been disclosed publicly by the Zambian government.

Embassy Park is waiting for this In Coming Dictator.

He despised the Sata’s legacy by appointing MMD Members at the expense of us pure PF Members.

May the spirit of sata continue haunting Edgar Lungu till he rests at Embassy Park.

I have no single mercy for Lungu. He must go.

      Nature must save us.

^^^ Just as I said, illiteracy is an epidemic in the PF membership. He has just proved that once again. When their president is ill, instead of wishing him well, his supporters are more concerned about HH. Whereas, the UPND and other opposition members are busy wishing their president well. It just shows how heartless and thoughtless these chaps are. Let us vote the UPND to bring some sanity and humanity to governance. Thank you zambia

kiki judge taumfwa iwe. Take away the political differences and we are all zambians. It is only zambian of us to be concerned and wish the ill good health. What am more concerned about is the effectivness and competence of Lungu’s health team. I would like to think malaria is a disease that manifests itself through symptoms before getting to such a stage of one fainting. We would like the health team to be accountable to lungu and ourselves as to why they didnt ensure he was well and fit enought to undertake duties. It is important that the presidency is not undermined by incompetent health decisions

May be it also time the president had a long think on whether it is wise for him to hold onto the defence minister post. Maybe the work is too much for him. THis is just a thought. It also does not help when he has taken up the duty of police and ivestigator also. He decides on who is violent and who is not. Meaning he has also taken up judicial duties. A pure case of lacking in the delegation skills area. Vote UPND

Not wishing EL anything bad, but i can smell a rat in all this. Presidents have regular health checks, hope they are telling us the truth this time and its not anything serious. God help EL.

Ba muzo typical of Zambians, they do not know how to discuss issues always getting personal, We all have different opinions on everything but if being personal makes you feel good then i respect that. What i am saying is, I have have had been down by malaria on many occasions and personally i know how it starts with me and when i get that feeling at times i do not even need to go to a hospital for diagnosis but straight on go to a chemist and buy myself some malarial drugs and start my own treatment and 99% of times it has worked for me. In short i know myself and i can tell when something is not right, we are all human and get sick at times and EL being president should be careful and not force thing even when he knows he is not feeling ok, try to avoid such things happening in full view of the public if at all it can be avoided and dealt with in private. We are not ready as a nation to start debating the health of our leader after what we had gone through not long ago. Let us learn to respect each other, even those that do not share our ideas, its called democracy or freedom of speach.

Wasosa mune. This is exactly what I preach about all the time. In the UPND we want people to be free to express their opinions. Freedom of speech is vital to ensure the developmentof the country as it gives the opportunity for people to give varied views and opinions on issues. We wish the PF could be more open minded in their approach to the oppostion and accept that some people will not agree with them. We hope Lungu will use this time to reflect and rethink his strategy of controlling the police and also his hunger for power. We also want to know whether he is drawing two salaies as president and defence minister.

Assuming is something dull people do. Learnt to research things before you show your dullness. That is why I said PF cadres believe anything they hear. HH has come out and said he is not a freemason. SO the onus is on you to provide proof on two things. Firstly that HH is a freemason and number 2 that freemasonary is the same as satanism. DO not be dull and trivial.

one must believe in the True and Living God,
but rather, that one must believe in the
existence of a “Supreme Being”, which
    includes the “gods”

Those who want to know the incubation period for malaria parasites in the blood stream is two weeks, about 14 days, the infected mosquito will inject the sporozoites into your blood and you become sick after two weeks after the parasite has gone through different stages and these stages take place in the liver. When the parasite has reached the last stage, it leaves the liver and goes into the blood stream and it is at this stage when you feel very ill and the temperature will normally go up.
