Doctors Medical Tests Reveals Edgar Lungu Has Low Sugar
Edgar Lungu
At Heroes Stadium, the presumptive diagnosis revealed traces of malaria and low blood sugar level. During his observation and treatment the low sugar level was corrected and the President was able to address the parade on the podium at Heroes Stadium. The President was later taken to Maina Soko Military Hospital for medical tests and observation.
Medical tests carried so far ruled out full malaria infection.
The Nation may wish to know that President Lungu has a history of the narrowing of the food pipe (medically known as achalasia), which was corrected 30 years ago at the University Teaching Hospital (UTH).
The tests have revealed that this condition may have recurred and could have led to the low sugar condition the President experienced during the Women’s Day event.
A team of senior doctors comprising physicians, surgeons, pathologists, and radiologists, reviewed these findings and recommended immediate correction of this condition.
The President is in good condition and the nation shall be informed on further developments. I will return to issue a second Medical Bulletin at 10:30 am Zambian time on Monday, March 9,2015, at State House in the Briefing Room.

He is humble,knowledgeable,understanding,slim,tall and loved by electorates,this is evidenced by his victory for the first time on presidential ticket while others are denied for several times.I know that Not everyone is happy with his success in life.It is not his fault to be the president because he was born a leader hence they failed to stop him.I’m pretty sure that God who gave him this position is with him and he will take care of him so that he continue serving and uplifting the living standard Zambian people.

This is where we the UPND come in with an alternative to the mediocres that have been happening. In the UPND we will ensure it is mandatory for the president to undergo medical checks that certify he is able to perform the duties of the president. We understand that everyone has a right to privacy including the presidency. That is why we are saying that this medical check will only certify whether or not a potential candidate is fit to perform. In turn this will lead to aspirants staying healthy and also therefore acting as a role model to all the obese and unhealthy youth out there.Vote UPND

If 30 years ago Doctors at UTH were able to under corrective surgery on achalasia, what haas happened that this can not be perormed now….we lost the skilled doctors, or our machinery is now completely absolute? I am seriously interested in someone at UTH making a comment about this. God bless EL!
