    I would add that I better buy may a good phone for myself than throwing money in a bottomless pit. It’s a sorry situation that companies in zambia exploit us in this way. They all want rape us on our little income. None is ready to reduce their costings eg bus fares, mealie meal, tuition fees name them. What type of a nation is this? To hell with Multichoice

      In Zambia, full bouquet is K710(1420.00 Rands, same in Nam dollars). In Namibia, the same costs about 750.00 Nam dollars(K375.00). Day light robbery this is. Why everyone takes advantage of Zambians, investors, politicians,businesses,etc.

      After pleas by the smart pipo of Zambia to change my blogging conduct I have now decided to contribute positively to our beautiful country.FYI I was just hired by UPND to smear campaign & deliberately discredit the PF government to ruin their public reputation. In fact prior to Jan 2015 polls Muvi TV was given K2.5 million rebased to promote political propaganda against the PF Party to manipulate & influence opinions in favour of UPND. Even the exaggeration of EL sickness by ZWD is a systematic attempt by UPND to shape perceptions of the pipo & hoodwink them so that they fall out of favor with PF in the coming 2016 polls///

    multi choice is killing itself,its like upnd charging members a more of money to watch them on rallys,only to cancel them again and repeat the same behaviour after a short while,do u see the resemblance between these two..Dstv and upnd,they both exploit people

    This increase in prices of dstv fees has been made in line with the poor performance of the kwacha. You thought by making it illegal to price in foreign currency would prevent the effects of poor economic managment being felt to the common man? Well PF you are mistaken. Inflation is not prevented by making draconian laws bane. It is through prudent economic management which the UPND will bring about. Vote UPND to avoid this type of stupidity

    @ kamata bringing by elections? if Pf was not opposed by other interested parties Pf could have continued to rule until its five term mandate was completed, and Pf members made a life of noise asking oppositions to let Pf finish its two years before campaigns, but chi Hh was forefront campaigning in southern province before we even burried Ba sata,that’s the thing about democracy, even if it was muliokela who wanted to stand against Pf they would let him because it is his right to,like u have the right to drink if u are 18above,just depends on how u drink

    It’s very sad to see dstv go this far.Their prices increase every time the kwacha losses value and their prices are always in ink.they every time it suits them by December it will be 900.can the government do something about it more the same movies are repeated.we can do without them anyway.

    I do not remember when I watched DSTV. I watch free to air. Mpe4 is special I watch Ghana channels ,Malawi ,Botswana ,Namibia + Gospel lizanda .

    @ The Tiger and Chanda you are very dull. What can the govt do for you in this case? When u subscribed to dstv u did not inform govt and govt did not force u to. U willingly put yo head on the dstv chopping board. And govt does not force anyone to use dstv.
    Let me help u. Stop paying dstv.
    Petition relevant authorities to bring in another pay tv providers just like mobile phone network providers in Zambia.
    Advocate against the evil dstv monopoly.
    50 years of independence shouldn’t just be a number but accumulated experience in solving personal/national problems and self reliance.
    Democracy should be viewed in the same vein as to avail ourselves possible sets of solutions and choices from which to choose from what suits/help us.
    The solution is about having more pay tv providers.

    @jobseeker: You are obviously not patriotic but with lens that see tribalism and regionalism instead of ethnicity. Even then you miscalculate alot such you can see that in Zambia all the language dialects are summed up into 7 languages even broadcasted on ZNBC. If you thought these areas you would have known that the so-called HH had a lozi, kaonde, luvale, lunda & tonga vote leaving EL with only two votes i.e. nyanja & bemba. In this way you would known that it is actually us the TWO who are tribal. Stop this nonsense for once. Just get a MUVI decoder and ignore DSTV.

      I can’t get a MUVI decorder coz they proved they are biased polically. They are Up n Dn members and I can’t stand such a Tv provider who can show openly and even to the extent of fabricating opinion polls in favour of hh just to hood wink the masses.     After 50 years of independence you still rely on foreigners to supply you with information via TV. This is what we call stupidity. All the previous governments including the PF have failed you. Lack of support for local companies to provide such services has meant that we are been controlled by foreign owned companies in terms of the cost of information. When we in the UPND tell you that you need a strong economic manager you think we are just being petty. Open your minds and vote UPND or forever continue to suffer
