Plans are under way to set up the Office of the Physician General that will be tasked to look into the general well being of occupants of the Office of the President of the Republic of Zambia.
According to exclusive sources familiar with the developments, Republican President Edgar Lungu had arranged for a two hour meeting in Pretoria with Doctors from South Africa’s Surgeon General whose main role is to oversee the health of South African Heads of State.
“We were in Pretoria yesterday and met the South African Surgeon General courtesy of President Lungu. We had a two hour meeting learning how their set up is and how they operate” said the source who elected to remain anonymous.
Among those who are said to have attended the meeting include Zambia Medical Association (ZMA) President Dr. Aaron Mujajati, whose organisation has applauded President Lungu for being honest open and forth right about his health.
President Lungu has won the hearts and minds of many with his transparent way in which his Presidency has handled issues relating to his health and became the first Zambian President to disclose he was not feeling too well at a public gathering, a feat that won him praise across the continent.

Some people are naturally loved while others are naturally hated. Why is life like this? If you only humble yourself the Lord will lift you up. If you exhort yourself you’ll be lowered. These are lessons of life. With all the weight of the earth on Edgar surely he doesn’t deserve put confortably support. But to say the least the man has won lots of hearts so far such that come 2016 it will be a white wash

I am so educated and exposed to project management & consultancy but very ignorant in ophthalmology. I am very educated in citrus plant growth, improvement and crossing but ignorant in computer science. Therefore, for you to open your big mouth (literary) & say only the ignorant ++ it speaks a lot as to why PF will always win because we all are ignorant in something.

So now PF Govt wants to create the Office of the Physician General all for the sake of Edgar? Now they see the man needs constant medicare they are suggesting creating a Dept specifically to handle the cancer patient? Why did you vote for him in the first place why not create an Office of Youth and Empowerment General to create jobs than turning a state house into a cancer and alcohol rehabilitation centre. Sis! This is a bloody joke of a country. The economy is on the brinks of collapse and all he can care about is fixing himself and future presidents. Zambia is bigger than one man or person who occupies that seat. As long as leaders do not improve the health sector in the country then they do not deserve any better themselves. He is now going to use presidential powers to set up an office that is tasked with ensuring his backside is cleaned using tax payers money. That way, we cannot come out in the future and call him out for misusing money. Very clever calculated move, however not that morally clever. Why create an expensive office that will cost us millions when we can just effect a law in the consitution that will ensure only fit people run for office hence making it cheaper in the long term? Your job is to blog kak on the site doing your best to de campaign PF. Remember UPND shall remain in opposition until it disappears like UNIP. If I were HH, I would chase all chaps like you who more useless than value. You wanted HH to be president, and now he is lining up for fuel in filling stations. Tell your HH to repent, maybe I can vote for him. If I can ask, does your face look like HH when he is praying to his god?

if u call a human a thief and he just looks @ u,u start to wonder if what u said about him was true, here we have a situation of us accusing tongas to be tribal and they have no defence against it,not even thier leader has bothered to tackle the subject, actually he is forefront wen it comes to demonstrations,I mean he brings the heat from hell, but look at our late president after he lost elections, the whole country was about to be in chaos, blood shade was guaranteed and he rushes to the nearest radio station and stopped all of us from fighting the mmd,he said this is the only home u have, wow that man was thee man.I have never seen such a man with a heart of gold

a man who is more concerned of our health than his seat, we could have fought them day and night but he knew we would have lost more from our fights than we would have gained and he comes in power and builds everywhere, schools, hospitals, universities, roads, now working on milling plants even in southern province where he was hated the most.I would just like to say thank you Ba sata for being a father to us,u showed us how we are supposed to live, though u left us too soon u still paved a way for us to follow,I wish I could do more during Ur life here but all I can say is thank you Ba kateka, thank you very much,we shall surely meet one day

There is an utter fool on these boards who pretends to be very intelligent, offering ‘thought provoking arguments’ when dished out with drivel by equally moronic commenters, but screams and swears the moment he (or maybe she) is genuinely challenged.
He (she) has called the President several demeaning names but cries blue murder when on the receiving end. He (she) also uses the flag (with variation) of a hapless party that he is so seriously helping to decampaign!
How fickle!!!
