Beaten Ndola Elderly Man Denies Practicing Witchcraft

An elderly man of Kababemba Village in Senior Chief Chiwala’s area who claims to have been beaten after being accused of witchcraft says he is innocent.
Eighty-One-year-old Valentine Filaluka says he was early last month accused of having a hand in the death of a neighbour’s child which made members of the community beat him up.
His concern is that even after re-locating to Kabushi Township in Ndola for his safety and the Kabushi local court resolving the case, he has again been called by elders in his village to exculpate himself.
However, in a telephone interview Senior Chief Chiwala says he is not aware of this particular case but has stated that he does not condone witchcraft.

This is ignorance brought about my governments that do not priortitize education and literacy. All previous governments and the PF government have instead given priority to educatiing their privileged kids abroad while the majority of zambians go without proper education. In turn, ignorance is now costing us innocent lives. The PF has blood on their hands and they do not even realise it. Please vote UPND to ensure education is priority and so that we do away with such ignorance.

After pleas by the smart pipo of Zambia to change my blogging conduct I have now decided to contribute positively to our beautiful country.FYI I was just hired by UPND to smear campaign & deliberately discredit the PF government to ruin their public reputation. In fact prior to Jan 2015 polls Muvi TV was given K2.5 million rebased to promote political propaganda against the PF Party to manipulate & influence opinions in favour of UPND. Even the exaggeration of EL sickness by ZWD is a systematic attempt by UPND to shape perceptions of the pipo & hoodwink them so that they fall out of favor with PF in the coming 2016 polls

Your avatar is kind of fuzzy, bro. It’s not as clear as the original one. Anyway, way to be a troll on Tumfweko. It would be wiser to go head-to-head with the real NEZ on political issues instead of resorting to silly tactics.

kiki that is pathako pinu. he is now frustrated and has resorted to silly attacks using cloned profiles. He has failed to offer solid debates just like the entire PF.

That’s what happens when a society is marred by illiteracy, ignorance and a lack of civilization. People turn to vices such as witchcraft to cause harm to others who they envy. This whole thing is rooted in the inability for people to understand that an individual is responsible for oneself, and that the only thing that holds one back is oneself. As such, disgruntled members of society who feel that ‘destiny’ has dealt them bad cards, begin to practice witchcraft to get even. Witchcraft in Europe or America is different from that in Africa. In the west, it mainly involves love spells and fortune, in Africa it’s about killing and causing harm to others, visiting graveyards and all that BS.

This witch hunting of poor, old, vulnerable people should stop!!!
Rather hunt down false pastors, prophets and all con-men predators stealing from hard working people in broad-daylight.
