ZAMBIA offers one of the most liberal economic policies in the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region which foreign entrepreneurs searching for high returns should invest in, MMD president Nevers Mumba has said.
Dr Mumba has also said that it is time for Africa to “repaint” its colours from those of its colonial masters and package for herself an educational culture that shall ultimately produce an enviable continent and reduce on donor dependence.
Speaking at the 5th Global Business roundtable annual conference in South Africa last week, Dr Mumba said Zambia offers a 50-year culture of political and social stability.
“Zambia is a natural hub land-linked by eight sovereign nations with their combined populations presenting a huge market for any business, such as motor assembly plants, to set up its headquarters in Zambia,” he said.
According to a statement by the MMD, Dr Mumba also told the meeting that Zambia is currently undergoing massive transformation ignited by major infrastructure investment into the roads and bridges to unlock its massive potential.

This is what we need from patriotic Zambians and not conderming everything. The next we hear from haters is Mumba is looking for a job from PF. I would rather vote Mumba next year as my second choice than the freemason. This freemason will never be patriotic as long as he is in opposition.

Yeah we are tired of these chaps with shallow arguments or premise from “Ni Lungu cabe” now its freemason – its this kind of reasoning without proof we now have a sickling leader.

If there is no proof, tell HH to have Bishop Chomba arrested over his remarks, coz in the High Court, Bishop Chomba never refused nor retracted his statements about HH’s dark spiritual connections. So, why is he not challenging him for a proof? If you have no proof, it doesn’t mean everyone has no proof. It could be that you are infact a member too, so you are supporting your local team.!!!

Excellent marketing for your nation Dr Mumba, if we start talking like this then we are heading to develop our nation. You have scored a point Ba Mumba. Continue doing some checks and balances so that we can move together who knows tomorrow it can be you in the office. My fellow Zambians, Zambia should be for Zambian first we should check where we need to develop as Zambians while we are trying to coordinate with the foreign investmentors, this can reduce externalizing our resources which mainly deprive our nation. Socialist type of governance the best, We have human resource now Zambia we can make it. come on guys.

Dr Mumba, this is how the opposition suppose to do. Hats off sir. We are Zambians, and we only have this great Nation, we all have a duty of talking highly of our Nation, including our leaders. What l know is there is time for everything. Time to lead, and to be lead. Dr Mumber even in opposition you are Great Leader. Zambia is the best Country in World, it doesn’t matter how others looks it or not. May the Lord keep our great Nation united.

Maketing Zambia wel and good, in the first place, how did Mumba find himself in that workshop? As for me he is just another sell out opposition leader. We have a lot of issues at stake in Zambia right now that need urgent addressing by PF and for someone from opposition to start talking about investments when the environment itself is not conducive as yet. You start by creating a conducive environment before you start talking about luring investors. Mumba has dewstryed MMD together with his counter part RB. LET PF allow Mumba come on board on its party and see how he is going to massacur it. There are certain people in ZAMBIA who may not stand on their own to leade a party like MUMBA and LATE SATA because they need all the time to be under someone’s guaidance. KK stated very clearely when SATA was ving for Presidency. KK said this man you want to put into power is not capable of leading a party all by himself let alone the country, unless you are calling for problems, and we saw it. As for Mumba, he has so far already destroyed one party of his own and has moved to MMD which is now suffocating heavily. Can we have Mumba talk about political and economic emacipation instead of talking about investment when the investment environment is crying faul.

Points taken. But Mumba or yourself does not need anyone to send you to discuss your country with pride. Yes Zambia has problems under PF but there are sectors that need revamping such as tourism. The country is also well positioned for southern Africa’s industrialisation. I am sitting in the Washington and you should hear how Americans talk about their country. You would think all is smooth sailing. Mumba might be a political underdog or foolish person. But the points he makes here are worthy commending. Please do not hate the message. Maybe you could hate the messenger. Even though, you do not have to kill the messenger

@mjbanda problem you offer little arguments you were on “Muzungu wopusa” forever, next “Ni Lungu Cabe” next “He is a Freemason”. You are a professional I guess but man can you reason beyond this obvious cliches?
Judge Joe Bidden

You are the very reason some of you so called professionals are not encouraging other PF cadres to emulate you at a higher reasoning level, look at @kakolwe he is PF but the chap can offer arguments sometimes I give him a ‘hand shake’. But you?… alas.

kiki said like a typical PF cadre. HH does not need to announce to the top of the world when he meets with international figures. After all, HH headed many international financial organisations. He is himself an international figure. He attends international meeting whenever he faces his mirror

HH doesn’t have to announce to go for an international meeting….????? Blah, blah, blah…..!!!! Yet without announcing we know many people including outsiders of other nationalist when they go to international meetings!!! Aaah, mmmmmmmhh… The man has a lot hidden and unknown facets of his life that makes many of us not only jitter but can’t trust him.
Imagine from nowhere, a person who was never known to be rich today, tomorrow he appears on the scene, ati ” Am successful business man…. I have successful companies….” You can’t tell us how you got there, how you got shares in previously state-owned institutions…?? Nothing, at all, nothing, nothing, nothing is known…!! Only coming out suddenly brrrr, ati ndine wo lemela…!!!
Many have been known and have told where they started to get where they are ( like Bill Gates; a straight forward story of hardwork.) But HH sivizibika vinthu imwe bantu, Eisssssh.

You are a very dull PF cadre who seems to be living in a drum that is meant for water. Any sensible man with access to media and information knows HH’s story. Please read widely or better still pop into our offices and demand to have a chat with HH himself in order to ascertain his background. Rather than criticise some one who is successful please learn to learn from them. This is why you will forever remain behind and keep on voting in visionless people. Open your mind and use that access to internet for something better such as researching. Information will not be spoon fed to you lazy pillock

For once, I thought I was listening to a Minister of foreign affairs on commission to sale Zambia & woo investors. Truthfully, as Bidden says, this is the first for ANY opposition party leader. Not even Sata sold Zambia as a viable entity during RB’s time. He stated that he could make it best if he came to power. Same as Hakainde, he says Zambia is a failed state until, and only when he comes to power. Really, if Mumba continued on this pathway, he may surpass EL & HH in giving hope for mother Zambia.
Thumbs Up!! Nevers has moved the opposition stance a level up. If hakainde remains in the ‘cry baby’ slot for long, not even mad women will listen to him. Thanx Nevers.
