Veteran politician Vernon Mwaanga has noted the need for members of the public to make dignified comments on the health of President Edgar Lungu.
Dr. Mwaanga says he believes comments on the health of President Lungu or any other private individual should be made in the decorum of a Doctor –patient relationship.
He has told Qfm News by telephone that this is in order that such comments do not go out of hand.
Dr. Mwaanga says he is of the view that by being open about his health, President Lungu has set the tone and stand. He has however notes that this does not mean that the people of Zambia should not comment on the President’s health simply because he has been open about it.
Dr Mwaanga states that people have the right to make comments on the President’s health because they are the ones that elected him and thereby making him their employee to perform specific duties for them.
He says for the fact the Head of State is an employee of the people, the people also reserve the right to ascertain the extent to which their employee is able to perform that which he was employed for.ard.

Our beloved president Honourable Lungu has been very open on his health status which a meaniful Zambian should appreciate. Whatever bad comments coming from the media organisation are not in the Christian way. As Christian when a friend is sick you do not say bad comments apart from advising the person who sick and wishing him quick recovery. Do un to others what you expect them to do un to you.

The PF and lungu are a bunch of hopeless pillocks. Lungu is a lawyer but behaves like a call boy. Lungu came out in the open saying he wanted transparency in the health of the president. He himself opened himself up to the media and wanted people to know the truth. Now the man cannot handle the consequences that come with that? How can you preach transparecny and then again try to prevent people discussing? What sort of transparency is this? Now we hear the man has gone to china for 15 days? kiki what sort of tour is that where a president tours for over 2 weeks kiki vote UPND bane

He is not a Republican President so your argument is a nonstarter. But when he decides to be then we will even scan his balls – this time around. Tired of dead leaders.

Well if the President came out in the open straight before the elections about his health then people might have eased a bit. Also the fact that the president fell in public, there was nothing to hide about his health anymore. Straight from operation the president declared that he was fit to work but now there are rumors that he may not travel to Namibia due to health reasons and this makes me feel that the President is not being fair to himself and his family. The President is trying by all means to hide his health situation for whatever reason but this might result in a regrettable situation for members of his family. Someone can be sick at any time but measures have to be put in place to mitigate the illness and usually people are put on rest or retirement or whatever situation that would help. I would, like always, suggest to the President that he takes a critical look at his health and swallow his pride or give up on any drive to cling to presidency if he realised he had issues with his health. We can’t afford to have another dead President in this short period as Zambia. It is only EL who will be able to know what next for himself.

so you were in the voting booth with them and saw who they cast their vote for? Also, does it mean that only people who voted for Lungu can offer constructive criticism to him? Please tell your president to get out of his bubble. The presidency is not for emotional and weak people. half the country did not vote for lungu. Are you telling me that all these people should not mention that chaps health as if he some sort of demagogue? nonsense. Vote UPND in 2016 to bring an end to this ignorance

If its Civic Education yiu need, Say, Lungu was NOT voted for by less than half of the people that voted. Actually tha was less than a quarter of the entire register. Celebrate actuality iwee.

if someone I employed has failed to work better I fire him and employ another competent one than finding a solution for him, then what is the purpose of employing him so is pf we employed one changwa lungu but if he fails to work better we fire him and employ others who applied for the same job/position during election in the name of hh.lungu has fired others and employed his own choice/people in those positions to deliver/discharge his duties we elected him for but if he fails to deliver to our expectation why can’t we fire him and employe others on the waiting list like HH,lungu has fired others lets us also fire him too.50-50

Zambians picked on Chagwa as civil servant number one because of his powerful credentials. The other nine from which Zambians failed to pick even a vice president had dubious resumes, like ascending to the party presidency.
