TB Joshua: The Most Influential Personality In Africa

JoshuaHot on the heels of his nomination as the ‘Yoruba Man Of The Decade’, Nigerian cleric T.B. Joshua has received a global acknowledgement by ‘The Society For The Recognition Of Famous People’.

The website www.thefamouspeople.com which archives the lives of highly influential people in various spheres of life, the majority of whom are posthumously honoured, added Joshua’s biography today.

The write-up declares Joshua as “one of the most influential personalities in Africa”, chronicling his journey from a poverty-stricken background to the head of an internationally acclaimed Christian ministry in the heart of Lagos, Nigeria.

Almost 6000 famous individuals have so far been documented by the website, pooled from an impressive array of business people, scientists, writers, musicians, sportspersons, painters, physicians, singers, dancers, film and theatre personalities, activists, intellectuals, academics, fashion icons, media personalities, leaders, lawyers, engineers and inventors.

Only four other Nigerians have so far been noted by the society, these being Nnamdi Azikwe, Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka and President Goodluck Jonathan.

Joshua was included in the section of ‘spiritual and religious leaders’ with the likes of the Dalai Lama, Pope Francis, Martin Luther King Jr and Mother Teresa.

That presidents, prime ministers, sports men and women visits the church of TB Joshua makes no sense at all.Evidence has practically shown that certain people who are successful do not possess or represent brilliance, and therefore should not be used to authenticate the fraud that goes on in synagogue.People like TB Joshua are bound every where, and his type can only be neutralized by God who knows all things. Those who supports his works are brain washed, and nobody can help them out but God,someday.

Just another house of scam. Am just very sorry for those narrow minded ones that are being deceived and may God punish those that know what they go there for and tell us otherwise.I think it’s time for the Nigerian govt to take proactive stance against this ugly trend of church proliferation in the country.

I have refused to be sold Pentecostalism because the churches are business centers while their owners-general overseer, bishop, pastor or whatever appellation they fancy-are emperors bestriding their empires like colossus .Part of the deification of their persona include conspicuous consumption and the brandishing of symbols of earthly power to intimidate their gullible congregation into elevating veneration to cult followership .While the congregation is getting poorer and jobless with the great economic recession, they are encouraged to make earthly contributions to the already bloated pockets of these scammers who in turn promise them eternal life in the world to come, instant cure for all diseases and magical turnaround in economic fortunes. The US has gone through the antics of these overseers, who claim to have God’s private line. The US press unraveled, discredited and destroyed them one by one. The ones left are mere babbling hypocrites reduced to sorry and pitiable shells of their former glossy selves.

After working for more than 15 yrs in EU, my sister retired and took 10% of her retirement money to TB Joshua before doing anything else. Guess what happened, she is now so broke she has started lying to borrow money from me a “Godless” person who always warned her about the trickery of TB Joshua and his fáke miracle oil/water, of which she had also purchased in bulks at € 70-. a piece.

TOO BAD!! Many people have been used, misled and deceived by the so called men of God in Nigeria.

    • Common sense is not common!

      March 24, 2015 at 10:04 am

There is always a thin line between faith and blind faith, people following someone blindly always fall in such traps and end up loosing many things..its not only in Nigeria but in many parts of the world and hence few try to take advantage of such blind faith, the other day it was posted that total assets of this T.B. is $15 million…its a huge sum of money and how he earned it…it can be seen from the points highlighted here… what an irony..if he is man sent by god why he needs money what is this?
nothing but using all sources to earn money and becoming richer and richer…let people stop following such people and use their brains and hard earned money in better ways….

This is the ugly flip side and the true revelation of the new Pentecostal faith, where evangelism is often skewed toward spiritual manipulation and deceit. Those who have taken mastery of the faith game will always exploit those weak and gullible people who have lost every hope of restoring their human dignity and therefore had to turn over their fate to a power they believe is higher than them. People such as the TB Joshuas of the world would swoop in and give these people something to believe in where every thing else had failed them. These novo self proclaimed preachers have used fear, cajoling and guilt trip ride to maintain a stronghold on their flocks while using appropriate citations in the scriptures to reel them glued in to them like crazy glue. These are usually people who are down and out on their luck, often sick and unable to seek proper or have access to adequate medical treatment. These pastors look healthier than their followers. They live in plush gated mansions. They travel overseas to seek medical treatment and would not rely on their spiritual powers to heal them. They shall all be exposed for their wickedness and for stealing in the name of the lord!!

It is very unfortunate that people are often looking for healing where there is non. My own sister was deceived by Pastor Joshua to use anointing oil to rob a breast affected by cancer in early 1997. I told my sister then to seek for medical attention and operation early, but, she refused until the situation got worse. By the time she realized the fact and seek for medical attention in late 1998, her condition had got worst. She died at the age of 56 in 1998. This end time, there shall be many fáke prophets and fáke pastors. No human has the power to heal because unless thy are medical Doctors…… No human is holy, even Pope is never Holy because he is also a human born from human parents.

ALL FÁKE MIRACLES! IF NOT LET TB COMMAND BOKO HARAM TO LAY DOWN THEIR ARMS. LET HIM CRY TO GOD FOR POWER TO DO THAT; THE WAY THE PROPHETS WE READ IN THE BIBLE CRIED TO GOD TO SAVE THE ISRAEILIES. THAT WAY, WE SHALL BE CONVINCED THAT HE HAS POWER FROM OUR TRUE

T B Joshua has since the nineties mined the gullibility and
nincompoopery of Africans using fáke, forged and fraudulent miracles cure claims and prophecies. But it took just a little architectural oversight to expose the schemes and pretensions of this charlatan.

Now does anyone need to prove that TB Joshua is a fáke? Does anyone need any additional evidence to show that TB Joshua has no healing or prophetic powers as he claims?

Calculate the number of churches claiming to perform miracles. Suppose all of them heal at least one person every Sunday and raise at least one dead person, believe me, our hospitals and mortuaries will be empty and there will be no need for medical doctors. I believe there are miracles. But miracles as claimed to be performed by TB Joshua and other Pentecostal pastors are nothing but deceit, 419!

The GOOD NEWS is that GOD has no favourites.
‘Conman’ or not, GOD is using Prophet tb Joshua mightly.
When GOD says ‘YES’, no one can say ‘no’

How can God use a conman mightily? When God says ‘yes’ people can surely say ‘no’ because we all have freewill. TB Joshua has managed to deceive people like you because you’re so gullible and cannot see the deception. You lack knowledge and that is why you’re perishing and wallowing in the magic of TB Joshua.

    Leave TB Joshua alone.
This clearly shows that in Zambia many people are evil.
Read your bible and see what works Jesus and the Apostles did.
Healing power is there for all who faithfully pray to God to help others.
Your money has blinded you and anybody touching money becomes your enemy. You all devils who condemn TB Joshua hell is your destiny.
Do not insult God just because you hate a pastor or your church lacks spiritual power to do the will of God. SDAs are devils. Why? The church was founded on a lie of the coming of Christ in 1844 22nd October by William Miller. Download and read “church heritage”.

If that’s the case, why do Christians still die? What’s the essence of healing power when we will all face death? You have a higher chance avoiding ailments by visiting a physician regularly than by going to Joshua. If life is so spiritual, then why do Christians die in accidents when they could have simply prayed that they do not happen? Life is physical my friend. It’s about cause and effect. If you’re driving a car with higher than normal tire pressure, expect a tire burst no matter how much you pray.
