Acting President Inonge Wina has condemned sexist remarks directed at women.
Ms Wina‘s condemnation follows recent sexist remarks made by some senior government and PF officials against female political figures.
In a statement made available to QFM News, Ms Wina says any remarks of a sexist nature are unacceptable from any source.
Ms Wina says government’s appeal to all Zambians men and women is to set good examples for civility.
She states that the PF Government acknowledges the need for full participation of women in the national development agenda.
She says this has been demonstrated through unprecedented appointments of women in key traditionally male held senior positions.
Ms Wina states that this is an acknowledgement of the PF government’s respect for women.

Wina cut to the chase and say that the PF men especially that foolish minister of education should learn to respect women. No need to beat about the bush. That chap threatened our MP with violence and yet this case goes without any investigation. This is a case in which the police should be proactive and commence investigations without being told by their clueless president to do so. We know they await orders from chagwa kiki.

How is it fourth? learn to count. Because you field ill presidents who die that does not count as a constitutional attempt to stand. A bye presidential election does not count as a an attempt at the presidency under the party constitution. Please learn to differentiate between republican presidency and party presidency. In the same way sata was allowed to be fielded due to PF’s consensus is the same way HH has been. If the party membership are in consensus in letting him run because they realise holding conventions every time one of your sickly leaders die, that is untenable. You should also understand that under our constitution a convention can only be given a go ahead by the NMC. Article 79 of the UPND constitution is explicit over the term of office of President.Article 79 states that a Party President shall be eligible for election for an indefinite period subject to this constitution provided that a party president who is elected Republican President shall only serve two terms that shall run concurrently with the term of office as Republican President.
