Photo: Flying Witch Falls In Pastor’s House

The woman in the  photo allegedly fell into a pastors house while flying in the night. The south African pastor only identified as Pastor Simon Nsingwane of the Back to the Word of God Church has not yet placed charges against the woman.
police spokesman Colonel Leonard Hlathi said the woman has been taken to a place of safety. Pastor Nsingwane said a child found the woman in the kitchen.
He said he did not know how the woman got in because the doors and windows were not only closed, but also had burglar bars.

Thats the best excuse you can give after finding you with another woman in your house – she just fell from the sky!

If you follow the ways of the pastors, soon it will be Witchcraft accusations against children in Zambia, Just like Congo, study the pattern of ignorance of those superstitious savages”

“…In regions where belief in witchcraft is entrenched accusations of witchcraft and witch hunts escalate in communities under stress. Communities under threat seem to revert back to long-held superstitions.”

Growing desires for land along Kenya’s Indian Ocean coastline are allegedly causing a rise in ‘witch lynchings’ by residents to intimidate their elderly relatives who own the title deeds of desirable areas.

Sadaka Muruu, 100, who owns 12 acres of sought-after land in coastal Kilifi county, claimed she was told by her grandchildren that they would burn her alive after investors asked about purchasing it.

The frightened grandmother was allegedly dragged naked from her home in January by relatives who had turned up without notice, and told neighbours they had caught her doing witchcraft.

But she was saved at the last minute by local councillor Teddy Mwambire, who drove her away to a rescue centre for elderly men and women accused of witchcraft, reported the Sunday Times.

Others have suffered a much-worse fate, with more than 50 people aged over 60 lynched this year over witchcraft accusations. Seven were killed in Cllr Mwambire’s district in Kilifi alone this summer.

“Embracing superstitions should call into question a people’s mental state and cause others to question their claim to rationality. Making superstitious claims should reinforce the idea that some human beings are backward, trapped in pre-modern age and still down the ladder of human civilisation, in an unenlightened state.
Irrational beliefs expressed publicly by public leaders embarrass a nation and a generation. This is the case in Zambia”

“We must break the spell of ignorance that hangs over Zambia. Fearful ignorant minds wasting away fighting imaginary witches must be replaced with educated, enlightened people”

    • Matambula   March 30, 2015 at 10:58 pm

Many poor communities in the African country rely on spiritual healers, sorcery and black magic.

      • Lost for words   March 30, 2015 at 11:18 pm

People commit the most heinous atrocities when they are able to convince others that their crimes are “the will of God”. All religions that require blind faith in invisible beings have the potential to be dangerous.

African ignorance at its best. These are the things that keep us behind. I think we already have such tales in our museums for tourism purposes. We do not need more tales. This type of nonsense is no different from the PF cadres claiming their president was god sent. Even when their president is failing to recover the economy they still insist that it is their gods plan for them to suffer. The day we move on from this stupidity the better for us. I can already see some nutcase has mentioned my name on top and was dying to see my comment. Good afternoon

    • kakolwe   March 30, 2015 at 6:06 pm

ati UK,,,more like southern province, anyway I shouldn’t be in front claiming edu isntcin the UK,I mean,we just came from reading a story up there, its proof that witchcraft does exist, and edu could be flying in different places too,UK,Ireland ,Norway ,I mean, once a pilot always a pilot

    • New Educated Zambia©   March 30, 2015 at 7:47 pm

kiki to the pf it seems impossible to be an international expert who flies to different countries depending on the demands of work. The pf have experienced so much suffering that they view travelling abroad as an impossibility. To them it is ok that only lungu can afford to travel while they melt away in the zambian heat not able to afford even chitumbuwa, walking around aimlessly with finished shoes and dry lips. Yet at election time they will still shout ifintu ni lungu. kiki vote upnd

      • jobreaker   March 30, 2015 at 7:58 pm

my apologies edu I didnt mean to come out rude, and of course we know itz not impossible to fly, especially in africa where flying was invented first before the whites made one,but do be careful wen u fly with Ur president form country to country, the challenge is not the distance, its the weather, traveling in same birth cloths can be a bit challenging, what if u land on ice hmm.

  11. Zedian   March 30, 2015 at 7:40 pm

Superstitions are often invoked by politicians to demonstrate power, legitimacy and authority.

In a civilised society, this Pastor would be facing charged sexual assault charges. This poor woman is mentally challenged and has been assaulted and falsely imprisoned.

I’m sure this is a stage managed publicity stance by the Pastor. Probably this women was paid just R500. In most african cultures, this is not nude, but a traditional attire.
