Paul Majura, Tanzanian CBU Lecturer Who Makes Sure Zambians Fail Exposed!

Dear Editor,

kindly conceal my identity as we expose the rot at CBU

Paul Majura a Tanzanian Lecturer at Copperbelt University must be
investigated by Immigration and Ministry of Education. 1.His work
permits expired.

2. He only has a masters and there are several PHD
Zambians that are qualified to teach his course

.3. He has the highest
failure rate of all the lecturers and Schools at CBU. 4. He brags
that he is untouchable as he has connections up there

5. A 3rd year course was taken from him and given to a UNZA lecturer who are now

passing.

6. The course he is teaching at 5th year only has about 15%
pass rate every year (records are there in senate)

7. He has beenBOASTING to us fellow lecturers and to students he teaches that he is
untouchable and the senate is scared of him. He calls the VC, Prof
Ngoma toothless and that he will continue failing Zambians because he
thinks Tanzanians (where he comes from) are more intelligent than him.
Tanzanians in his class have been the only ones passing with better
grades. Where is management to look into this issue? Does it honestly
have to take a demonstration by the students for them to act? when
such big number fails we have to question the lecturer, he’s the
biggest failure as it is clear that he is failing to deliver on his
end, it is such foreigners that have to be fired and deported back to
their countries.

That is pathetic, why should Zambian students live
at the mercy of a foreigner, he is holding back skilled labour from
entering the Market that can greatly help push our country forward.
Immigration office should explain why this man is still being retained
as the country has qualified personnel who can take up his role. He
should be investigated on his work permits and further more its clear
that he’s a liability to the University and the country at large.

Concerned Colleague..

Some lecturers are dangerous and if true, then he deserves deportation

This article was written by a student and not a lecturer because of the desperation it contains in wanting to get rid of the lecturer on weak grounds. University education teinobe at public universities, just study hard mune and you’ll clear that course,I have been in your position before and it took me persistence and hard work to graduate. Ba mafishi nimwe mulelila nga ba fresher balapela kwi?

        @ Change…Khikikiki…You are sharp…

Plus Clive has told me (a friend) that CBU doesn’t have any PhD lecturers in Civil Engineering, apart from Prof Clive Chirwa himself who is now Acting Dean …PhD are still in the making…Africa Development Bank has just unvailed over 60 Scholarship to improve capacity in that school in the next 10 years…

If I was in Civil Engineering, I was going to leave Oxford for CBU, though not in PF government…maybe HH or some dedicated politicians with a heart for suffering Zambians…In the meantime, each one for himself, forget development in Zambia

It is only at CBU where such idiocy can tolerated from such weak students…I hear that students can go on drinking the whole term, and then are even allowed to appeal after failing a course, and can even get a compassionate clearance??? That’s crap!!!! But what do you expect when the current VC and his Deputy have zero academic publications…I was surprised when I googled outProf Naison Ngoma, and his deputy Dr. Fredrick Chama.

Anyway..this id!otic failing student just wants to tarnish the image of one Majura…Under normal situations, CBU employed one Majura after he met a set of critiria, including ability to teach/lecture and research/publish papers!!!

Google for yourselves, all those in doubt…and good luck!!!…what you yield is their current positions at CBU, onothing more, and some incomplete LinkedIn stuff…I was equally shocked, am actually sobbing and wondering how they got those positions.

someone is just bitter. Some of us are actually using the knowledge he imparted on us. His sense of humour is quite extreme though.
I failed his course at the first attempt but I never gave up, but there is so much that I learnt from this man, u myt aswel look on the positive side…
