UPND At It Again As It Campaigns On Tribal Lines in Masaiti
UPND Copperbelt provincial chairman Elisha Matambo on Friday played a tribal trumpet when he advised people of Masaiti not to vote for PF candidate Michael Katambo because he is not Lamba.
Speaking at a rally in Masaiti addressed by UPND president Hakainde Hichilema to drum support for UPND candidate Peter Mumba, Matambo told the gathering not vote for Katambo because he did not hail from Lambaland.
“We want a Lamba to stand here in Masaiti, a by-election is a serious business. We will not allow someone from another place to stand, it has to be a son of the soil. In Mpongwe, they voted for [Gabriel] Namulambe, so what’s wrong with you people here? Katambo just married one of us [Lamba lady] here and that does not make him Lamba. On this one, there is no compromise. Even Rupiah Banda when he was campaigning for President Lungu, he told Easteners to vote for their own and it’s an open secret,” said Matambo.

Kiki I can see the PF are panicking. I mean if you give people bull crap what you expect? If RB is on record having said that what does one expect from those lower on the political chain? please do not trivialise issues. We know that tribalism is a tag you want to use on a particular group of people and yet if others are tribal it goes without mention. Whether tribal or not, upnd shall bag the election and no such stupidy lies and propaganda will stop that

Tribal talk will not win you an election ba pf. Simply the UPND UPND have a clear message which is jobs, lower cost of living , infrastructure, rule of law , less borrowing, financial discipline, reduced poverty, corruption, nepotism and promotion of One Zambia, One Nation.

…All parties are tribal….its just that some party officials are so dull that they scream about it in public. UPND can win the 2016 elections if:
1. They replaced their presidential candidate with a “down to earth person” —the UPND chaps have messed up the already damaged image of HH
2. They change their party name to something that doesnt symbolize stupidity —I am sure the New Educated Zambia© will not agree to this…..just like he doesnt agree to anything!
3. They should tell the Post Newspapers to be putting their new candidate as Headliner at least twice a week—-right now the Post id campaigning for EL and PF!
4. —All of sudden everyone in Zambia becomes STUPID in Nov 2016!(which is not possible).
PF isnt doing very well either. Unfortunately for UPND, people in Zambia have memory of a fish-3 seconds! Come 2016, they will forget how they have been suffering under PF and will still vote PF!

Let me put it bluntly to you: UPND WILL NOT WIN THE 2016 elections without you chaps dealing the issues that I raised in my posting above! Just be honest with yourselves, you already know that you cant win the 2016 elections because:
Southern will vote 90% UPND 10% Rainbow
Western will vote: 45% UPND,25% Rainbow and 20% PF
Northwestern will vote: 45% Rainbow; 30% UPND and 10% PF….and 5% OTHERS
Eastern, Northern, Luapula, Muchinga will vote 100% PF
Lusaka, Central, Copperbelt will vote: 55% PF and 25% Rainbow and 5% UPND and 5% Others
Now do the maths and convince me that UPND will win the 2016 elections! if you want you can cut this posting and keep it —-and come and compare with the actual results……we WILL MAKE SURE THEY ARE AS I HAVE SAID!
