HH Congratulates PF For Victories

UPND President Hakainde Hichilema has congratulated Patriotic Front candidates for emerging winners in yesterday’s parliamentary by-election.

Mr Hichilema however stated that the UPND has once again demonstrated that it is the only major opposition to the current PF Government.

He says the inroads the UPND has made into Eastern Province and the party’s strong performance in the Senga Hill parliamentary by-election also provide further evidence that the UPND’s popularity continues to surge across the length and breadth of the country.

Mr Hichilema in congratulating the wining candidates has appealed to them to serve the public’s interest at all times, putting aside selfish or personal interests.

He however, states that voter apathy was once more the real winner in yesterday’s by-election, with low voter turnouts recorded, with just 15% of registered voters turning up in the Chawama parliamentary by-election.

Mr Hichilema says Zambians, having been let down by government after government, are understandably fatigued by politics.

He says elected representatives must regain the confidence of the people by working hard in a transparent manner and serving the interest of all their constituents equally, and not just those that have voted for them.

The UPND leader says his party will continue to deliver its message that Zambians deserves better from their Government and that change is well within reach in 2016.

Mr Hichilema states that there is need for all to work together to ensure free and fair tripartite elections in 2016.

He has also welcomed the decision by President Lungu to heed to the UPND demand for the nomination of a new Chairperson for the ECZ.

Mr Hichilema says attention should now shift towards the scrutiny of the nominees, the upcoming voter registration exercise, and working with the ECZ to ensure problems presented by past elections are addressed, so that a level playing field and a transparent process for 2016 is ensured.

Whatever the case will be, in the 2016 elections, Lungu will win in Lusaka Province, CB, Luapula, Northern, Muchinga, Eastern. HH will win in NW, Southern, Western. Lungu and HH will share Central. HH will make ‘some’ inroads in the PF strongholds but they will be countered by the PF gains in Western.

All in all, Lungu’s PF is destineed for another victory in 2016. Mark this posting and refer to after the 2016 elections.

My brother that is exactly things will be come next year. Your analysis is as vivid as any sharp observer can see. UPND and PF will share votes of central and Western provinces while PF will comfortably win in the named six provinces. I like it!

These are the words you have been saying during all these past elections since 2011. But alas your words never come to pass. Even a little child can explicitly see that PF and ECL will win and this time with not by 27,000 votes, but by a wider margin. So who is dreaming, its you!!

NEZ, its time to chase HH from UPND top leadership. He has led us to 4 consecutive losses
He has misplaced priorities, instead of asking why UPND has lost in all the 3bye elections he’s busy blaming voter apathy. Yes there was voter apathy but why didn’t the same people that voted vote for the UPND candidate? That’s the question you should be asking yourselves. In my view NEZ, UPND has to overhaul and that overhaul should begin from the Top otherwise same results are eminent in whatever election that may come. One problem that I’ve observed is you support an individual instead of a party. Sit down with your fellows and learn to tell the people the truth that they have been rejected 5 times and its time to change the head

For sure there was voter apathy but still Lungu went on and win, why not Akainde and his party. You’re quite right my bro on this one.

HH has to find his way into Government operations so he can get some experience. He needs this more than anybody else. The earlier the better for him otherwise he may not get there. I personally won’t even say he can make a good president because I have no basis at all to conclude like that. However, Anybody can be President in our country.

PF’s victory in 2016 is there for to all!!!before 2011 general elections,PF was winning by elections easily and we all believed that MMD’s days in power were numbered.the win of change was blowing.but today this isnt the case as majority Zambians except those few in opposition mostly UPND and its for selfish reasons(being imployed)!!

Now listen everyone. It doesnt mstter who rules. If PF is doing well like it is doing now where the majority are appreciating cheap food, people have much more money in pockets. Actually plenty. Money is very easy to find now than ever before. The kwacha has gained a lot of strength. So why change such a good gvt? The majority who voted for PF are doing very well.
