Lebombo Border Post Closed, SA Trucks Attacked In Mozambique
LEBOMBO BORDER POST – Sasol’s Mozambican employees have joined in the protests against South Africans, following the recent reported incidents of violence against foreign nationals in South Africa.
As a result the company announced today that it will be moving its South African employees from its operations in Mozambique.
According to Mr Alex Anderson, head of group communications at Sasol, employees of service providers working on Sasol projects in Mozambique have joined in the unrest.
“We have had no cases of violence at our sites and the situation remains calm. As a precautionary measure, Sasol and its service providers will facilitate the phased, temporary exit of approximately 340 South African nationals from our operations in Mozambique, back to South Africa. As a result projects site work has been halted for the time being.
Anderson says operations at their central processing facility in Temane and the gas-fired powerplant, CTRG in Ressano Garcia, are running as normal.
“Mozambican employees of our service providers have expressed concern around the reported incidents of violence against Mozambicans and other foreign nationals in South Africa and are also protesting about the presence of South African employees of our service providers working on the project.”
“We are taking the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of all personnel and will continue to facilitate engagement with all parties involved and the relevant authorities to work towards an amicable solution. We continue to monitor the situation.”

Very stupid reaction on innocent people based on the actions of a minority ignorant few. Africans are overreacting over one country’s minority view that they do not want foreigners. This is a clear sign thay african states lack the capacity to manage and ensure security. In europe there are nationalist parties that feel the same but such groups are kept in control. One would think the whole africa is a group of failed states. The poor countries like zambia do not want to accept that its due to their poor voting decisions why we are now seeking refuge in foreign countries. Hold your pf government to account for why you cannot be successful in your own country.Poor economic management is really a disease in zambia. Vote UPND next time

This is a speech made by former South African President P.W Botha to his cabinet about 27 years ago. It was reprinted by David G Mailu for the Sunday Times, a South African newspaper, in 1985.
I quote…” We are not obliged even the least to try to prove to anybody and to the blacks that we are superior people. We have demonstrated that to the blacks in 1001 ways. The Republic of South Africa that we know of today has not been created by wishful thinking. We have created it at the expenses of intelligence, sweat and blood………We do not pretend like other whites that we like the blacks. The fact that, blacks look like human beings and act like human beings do not necessarily make them sensible human beings. Hedgehogs are not porcupines and lizards are not crocodiles because they look alike. If God had wanted us to be equal to the blacks, he would have created us all of a uniform colour and intellect. But he created us differently: Whites, Blacks, Yellow, Rulers and the ruled. Intellectually, we are superior to the Blacks; that has been proven beyond any reasonable doubt over the years. I believe that the Afrikaner is honest, God fearing person, who has demonstrated practically the right way of being……By now every one of us has seen it practically that the Blacks cannot rule themselves. Give them guns and they will kill each other. They are good in nothing else but making noise, dancing, marrying many wives and indulging in sex. Let us all accept that the Blackman is a symbol of poverty, mental inferiority, laziness and emotional incompetence. Isn’t it plausible? Therefore that the Whiteman is created to rule the Blackman……And here is a creature (Blackman) that lacks foresight….. The average Black does not plan his life beyond a year”

The 2015 Election was nowhere a near characterization nor a real reflection of what the Zambian political scenery is at now..I commend your good organisational skills and the strides you made to gain some ground.
But realize that about 60% of the population didnt vote..what happened is most PF people took it for granted they had already won and took a lay-back approach and stayed home.
Secondly the results witnessed in the past election were shameful. 3012 for UPND 0 for PF in Nega-Nega was just sickening. are you telling me that NOBODY AND I MEAN NOBODY LIKED PF AND EDGARS CAMPAIGN MESSAGE???
