A woman gave birth to a baby on the streets of Lusaka this morning. Eye witnesses said the woman was on her way to the market when her water broke. She started screaming for help and a few people gathered around her and when they saw the baby’s head was already coming out, they helped her deliver the baby right there. The woman and her baby are said to be doing well. God is great!
God Help us! This is serious, how can one not feel the thrust of the abdomen and end up giving birth on the road?…
This story is from Lagos, Nigeria…. I read it 2 weeks ago!!!!

Knowing Tumfweko, these photos may not be from Lusaka, let alone Zambia.
As usual Tumfweko stole the story from Nigerian online news!!!

omg, this is really amazing and the baby is adorable too
It is not surprised in a country like zambia where access to medical facilities is very unreachable. So even if this lady called ambulance, she would have still given birth on the road, because the ambulance would not even have turned up. In all my years and emergencies in zambia i have never accessed an ambulance. Poor medical facilities by an incapacitated government that has its priorities wrong is that order of the day in zambia. We in the UPND cry for our country. vote wisely in 2016
Aaaaaah nachishiba,u uyu chikala fye, evrythin to him is pf’s fault,u hav read that she ws on her way to the market, yet u r blamin pf for that, its no wonder comrade hh hates ur ass
Kwena NEZ na Major Chileshe mulashupana kwati ni pushi waku Ngungu ne mbwa yakwa Sinia. Ya ala mulansekesha!
NEZ ukaivotela weka and stop crying about everything. Maybe you did not know PF is the only party in its 5 year term that will build more health centers and hospitals compared to the previous regimes in all its 40 chakuti years. So update yourself b4 you come to show your ignorance here. Look at how much health personnel are getting paid now and compare it with the last 4 decades. They were living and working in inhuman conditions but now everyone is envious and are motivated to join the health workers. Now compare with how much a Freemason pays his workers, can you compare? Food for thought.
@NEZ, the PF government has put in place maternal health facilities in nearly all areas to stop such nonsense from women who do not know that they are expecting as they have stayed away from under-five facilities.
@ NEZ,I can assure you, the country may not be doing well in other sectors but as far as health is concerned, the country is trying. Pregnancy is not an emergency, some expectant mothers deliberately want to go to the clinic late and you cannot blame the system.
The construction of 650 is real, the health M&E mechanism, is quite good.give credit to pf where its due.
Ushitasha, nindoshi!
Edgar Lungu and Rupiah Banda have similarities in all respect of their poor leadership. During Nyamasoya’s time, women could give birth from the street. But its like the Kachasu Man has inherited that also.
Shame on you President Sangoma Kachasu. Please resign on moral grounds.
there is an imposter NEZ going around. He usually comes out once his meds run out. Just a heads up mune. He is an example of how frustrated the PF have become due to not being able to manage affairs in the country. In 2016 we will retire them in national interest
