Dear Editor,
NATIONAL team coach Honour Janza is working very hard to restore the country’s lost glory.
And that he is doing with a lot of vigour.
But a closer look at his recent selection for the upcoming international friendly against Malawi and the regional COSAFA Cup in South Africa may suggest otherwise.
Is he genuinely rebuilding the squad for future competitions, Janza is undoing his own exercise by bringing back some players well beyond their sell by date.
These include Given Singuluma who has been struggling for form at TP Mazembe and the many-a-time clubless midfielder Felix Katongo.
Janza has an obligation to give the Chipolopolo a futuristic look rather than turn it into a rehabilitation centre for players past their prime.

I stand to be corrected. Chipolopolo has been a shadow of themselves of late. However, I still believe that every game is a different ball game and with proper coordination, determination and the stealth to go for the jugular can redeem our lost glory. Kukosa fye and call the shots.
